Cheap Landscape Edging Idea [No one has done this!]

At Woodward Acres, we needed to do some landscaping behind a large retaining wall that was built to hold up the Amish Pole Building that was stood up in under 2 days. I was concerned and wanted to prevent any washout so putting down some cheap landscaping edging to hold rocks back was a pretty good solution.
I didn't want to spend an arm and a leg to pay for the landscape edging idea so I ended up using fence posts. It was easy to install and the job went very quickly. Personally, I feel it looks pretty good too.
In this video, you will see a bunch of manual labor and we get our John Deere 4044m compact tractor involved to help us move all of the rocks around our home. I honestly can't image life without our John Deere 4044m tractor.
Instead of using river rock, we bought a load of septic rock. It is larger than river rock and it arrives dirty but as soon as it gets rained on it looks just like river rock with all of the colors.
I also love doing DIY projects so anytime I can get a cheap landscape edging idea that I can implement all of my own that is a happy day.

What's is the black paper you used?

Its used to stop weeds from growing, you can grab it near the lawn edging section of most hardware stores

The heavy duty one came in a 12’ rile from farmtek and the little roles I got from any stores garden center

Sparks on legs?! Big deal, man up. I weld in flip flops. I used to weld in tennis shoes, but the sparks burned into the shoes and burned my toes. Now the sparks hit my toes and roll off. LOL.
