For expensive cameras (which last longer), the cost of repairing a shutter is well worth it. For some cheaper cameras though, it might be cheaper to buy a new one.

I'm glad you liked it :) The camera itself doesn't have zoom, but a lens can. If you look at a lens's name, and it has a - in the name, then it's a zoom lens. For example, an 18-55mm lens can be zoomed in and out. A lens named something like 50mm f1.4 can not be zoomed. If you want optical zoom, you can simply film something with any lens, and then zoom in with some editing software :) I hope that helps 👍

@@MeMuertosstop misleading people. A DSLR is a lot more capable than the phone because of the photo aperture that you can get with specific lenses and attachments so it’s really not about the camera. It’s more about the attachments and software that you company with it. i’m not even a photographer and I know this. take a side-by-side of a DSLR photo in the iPhone photo and then zoom in and you’ll see the differences

if your flow is just "point-shoot-upload" then go with the iphone.
if you want full control or play around with the creative process, get the m200
