However, my blow dryer is the bomb, I'm just awkward in doing it myself, I used to have someone else to do it for years. My hair gets straight from simply putting in some kind of stretched state while it's drying, or if I even use my blow dryer on warm, but as soon as I'm sweating(which starts from my head), It gets puffy and shrinks easily. That's one reason why I don't waste money going to a salon since I stopped perming it. I'm looking into that brush you showed.

Silk presses over relaxers. Your hair came out so beautiful. Like these videos. Of course we shouldn't silk press all the time. But nothing wrong with wearing your hair straight at times. Go ahead with your pretty self.

Try to use a spray on leave-in since creams are a little heavier. Your blow-dry technique also matters a lot. I recommend using a paddle brush so you can get a sleeker blowout with minimal shedding/breakage. When flat ironing try a small section in the back at the lowest temperature you are willing to go and go from there. I've seen some people with type 4 hair just needing 410 degrees max with one pass to get a silk press. Take small sections. It may be tedious, but the results may be worth it.

Omg I know the bottle is so tiny 😩 the instructions say to only use 1 pump but girl… I use at least 6 pumps and I apply it on soaking wet hair so it distributes evenly
