You have to get a store or someone to get you a connection to trade up your 28mm Summicron for the new close-focus model, same great optics but a more compact barrel and much better minimum focusing distance on digital cameras.
I’d love to test the new close focus lenses :-)

Hi always great videos, you’re right the Q3 is awesome. As are the Wotencraft bags I now have 4 thanks to you. As for foot ware have you tried trainers from ON they are Swiss and very comfortable and light and great for walking round any city for hours and your feet are fine.

Yes I have the 7, 10 and 3.5 lit black and the new 3.5 lit leather for the Q3, it deserves it.

Take if you had to choose between the Q2 and Q3 as far as image quality only?
Is that the Kamerkraft grip on the M10-R? How do you like it?
Yes sorry I forgot to mention that. I love the Kameracraft grips, although it does add a bit of weight. However, I often shoot at night and having the Arcaswiss style connector built in is nice.
How do you frame the 28mm being a glasses wearer? I tried the 35mm on a M11 in-store and could barely see the 35mm framelines. Had to move my eye around the OVF. I don't think I'll see the 28mm at all.
I have an external viewfinder for my Leica M system, but I also wear contact lenses. I do hope to get the wider 0.58 M7 one day, but I also know how wide the 28mm is. I don’t shoot rangefinders in general for accurate framing. For that I do have my SLRs and mirrorless digital cameras :-)

2023 was the year I finally added a Canon 5D Mark III to my kit. I had always wanted one, but I never got around to getting one having gone from the 5D Mark II to the 5D Mark IV and 5DS. Well, this was finally the year, and it was just as much fun and as capable as I hoped it would be. The Magic Lantern firmware offers so many improvements, too, that it still feels like a modern camera instead of being 12 years old. In my pocket I carried a Benchmade 810 Contego in CPM M4, and on my belt I carried a Bark River Bravo 1 in S35VN with natural canvas micarta handle scales.
