Hey Ayla I really love this .. ( & those two guys who keep turning up are pretty cool too lol ) Just B4 I watched this I watched a long interview Marcus Miller discussing his career with the Jazz History teacher from NYU .. Marcus is fascinating some really gr8 ideas / tips for other musos .. & at the end he is asked about the state of music Now ? Which is where you come in Ludic .. I have liked everything from Ludic that I have heard & I like your films / promos .. Marcus said " It's difficult for new Artists .. on the one hand with the way things are It's wide open anyone can do it .. Put stuff out there .. which is good But on the other Hand ?? things have changed .. How do you get the big audience .. ?? " It's not the same as when a Big Record company was making sure you got played on the Radio or t.t. shows .. & there are so many platforms .. streaming downloading .. He is such a nice intelligent guy .. He didn't say he knew the answer .. But he mad e a few other good points .. like you can play the Sud's but there is No Beer .. LOl & if you play instrumentals to a baby yes the baby will listen but as soon as you add a human voice the baby can zoom write in on that .. I was awake for hours last night watching the history of Jazz documentaries until I feel like my Brain is over loaded .. But last thing .. in reference to a comment you mad ein an older interview about what makes a good song .. you mentioned 3 or 4 points .. one I have always said you have to be able to dance to it .. I would say if it aint got that swing it aint got that thing .. But also people like to ehm ? make love while listening to music .. & if you Go way way back & listen to Fleetwood Mac Albatross .. yes it is an instrumental .. but the melodies are so memorable & It used to be the last song at the Dance / disco .. Oh the slow Dances I had with girls to that song .. you had to be quick & get to your girl 1st .. My trick was to get in with the DJ & get a " Heads up " B4 it came on .. Lol .. Homage to Burt Lancaster & Deborah Kerr ( ? ) rolling in the waves at the edge of the sand in a Scene that was Banned as too explicit in the movies at 1st .. ask your Grandma .. I think the film was called " From here to eternity " (?? ) but it was the biggest love scene scandal of the year & you do not see anything .. My most favourite trick was the scandalous picture of the girl astride the wooden chair .. she is not even nude .. she just looks naked .. lol & the fil Calendar girls where all the women did Nude pix for a Charity Calendar that started a trend ..
