I've heard many expressions of surprise (5:26) from the videos I've watched (like Sucking Sunday and BTS). I try to look things up when I can, but this was helpful.
These videos are so helpful and fun at the same time! Please make some about grammar rules as well! :)
i don't really know why but this made me very very happy lol
+Margarida Gosta Wow, awesome! We're happy to hear that.
I have been attempting to learn Korean for a few years and never really was making much progress. I watched videos of Americans that speak/teach Korean, Kdramas, TTMIK books and videos and Duolingo. However, when I received an offer from KroeanClass101 and used it daily for the free trial period, I saw more improvement. It's a really complete program. Thank you. I can't afford it at this time, but when/if I can, I know this program will help me become much more fluent than the other's I've tried.
감사합니다. 이 같은 비디요를 좋아해요. 또한 저도 매운 음식을 먹으면 기쁜이 좋아져요. :)Thank you. I like this kind of video. And also, my mood also improves when I eat spicy food. :)

Thank you! By the way, the examples for the adjective meaning "good" (joh-da) are kinda confusing. They more like illustrate the use of "joh-da" as a verb rather than an adj, don't they?

I mean the basic adjective for example pigeonhada is pigeonhae or gwiyeopda is gwiyeowo. Why koreans add hada in the end? I also want to learn about the endings in some words like hada, hae, eun, eul, da, etc. You know like what's the difference between sarangeul and sarangeun etc

Why do most of them seem to end with 다? Is this the special word that ends all adjectives??
+SugarPuff Mel The EXO-L Hi Mel,
Thanks for asking. All the basic forms of adjectives end with '~다'. The lesson is an introduction to the top 25 adjectives, they are in their basic/ form.
Please let us know if you have any other questions.

Learn Korean with KoreanClass101.com What's "basic form"?
+SugarPuff Mel The EXO-L korean have that kind of 'basic form'. basic form is a basic word that you must change it before you can use it in conversation (but sometimes we're not change it).
for example, 먹다 (verb which means 'eat').
the basic form is '먹다', so we take '다' out, then 먹다 will be
formal polite = 먹습니다 (먹 + 습니다)
formal casual = 먹어요 (먹 + 어요)
informal casual = 먹어 (same with formal casual but we just take '요' out)
other example, 조용하다
formal polite = 조용합니다, 조용합니까, 조용하세요, 조용하십시오
formal casual = 조용해요
informal casual = 조용해
this is one of basic lessons that you must know in korean, so you must learn korean from the basic to understand this more.
hope this help ^^
Rara Azura Omg thank you so much!!
SugarPuff Mel The EXO-L you're welcome:) good luck to learn koren!
What's the scary Korean movie he mentioned?
How to know what to replace at the "da" in the adjective?
watch out, jump scare at 5:27
Lol.
Non la da (in dialect form pronounced nollada) is an Italian expression. It means that your girlfriend doesn't want to have sex with you. You can use Jaewhi jumpscare also for that situation.
how can i say Im not scared at all? please answer me
You're 귀엽다 ! 😄
I've been researching into how to understand Korean online and found a great resource at Napars Language Learn (check it out on google)
Y does the words end in "DA or TA"?
PandaKing 145
다 is a subject particle.
I little bit speed
Are there any difference between these two?
시끄러, 시끄러워?
I see Koreans use the same noun, adjective, verb in a lot of different forms, where can I study those forms? Are there rules to apply them?
Also, in these two sentences, they look really similar, just changed nouns:
- 이 움악은 너무 시끄럽다
- 이 버스는 너무 시끄러워
Why do I change forms for the same adjective if the sentence is really similar?
Please let me know, and thanks for this lesson as well.
Hi Nidalee,
Thanks for posting. To answer your question, 시끄럽다 is a verb that means 'noisy/loud'. 시끄러워 is the declarative present tense informal, and 시끄러 is a more colloquial way of saying 'be quiet!/you're too loud!', meaning that it is not grammatically 'correct' and would not be used in written/formal Korean, but is widely used colloquially by Native Koreans. Both mean 'You're too loud(be quiet).'.
