    Calidragon, 150%.
    0.4 nozzle, 0.2 layer height, .5 line width, 600mms commanded (SCV intense print/many corners), 40SCV, 50K acceleration, ABS, 290C.
Chube hot end, 120W heater. Can't print at these temps with this much fan or thermal trips. But a blanket over and no issues.

That is a good design you made. That sock is insane, did you mold one?

That is some silicone sleeve w/glass fiber insulation. Get the right I.D. and it slip fits right over.

Amazing work here! So far, how would you compare the Chube to the Goliath hotend?

Chube is more robust, more copper, heavier, parts can be changed out and more towards an industrial hotend. Goliath is lighter and less mass to heat. This means Goliath can heat faster the heat zone, but it can be cooled faster as well with filament and part cooling. Thermistor placement is not right with Goliath and the heating coil does not extend down low enough IMO. If printing at sane speeds for the plastic, Chube will win that battle for it's robustness and longevity.
