The boat runs way too wet, if possible shift the CoG a bit back, between 28 and 32% of the hull length is a good rule of thumb. The boat should run on the last few inches of the hull, not digging in at the bow when going straight.
Thanks for the insight, i don't have so much option to play with the COG in this RTR hull, but i will try to do something about that and re-test.
@@H4ckmoreOfficiel Moving the trimtabs up, should improve the riding attitude. Given that the battery is already against the transom, the ESC looks to be the only item that could be moved towards the rear.
@@janspoelstra8309 yes, battery IS already full back, i will play with the trimtabs and look for the esc relocation but not room for activities...
@@H4ckmoreOfficiel That's the problem with RTR models; everything is designed for you and constructed in such a way it's easy to produce, but usually leaves no room for the user to make modifications to improve the running attitude. I always use a bare hull to assemble my competition boats, that way I am the one who decides the layout... All my monohulls have a V shape, not the rounded last half of these Chinese designs, which frankly are not a good design to go very fast and run reliably. My boats all have a floodchamber to assure they turn back up after a flip.
