      Hey bro, Always remember that we are saved by grace through faith, not by our works
      We are called to live for Christ because we're already saved and He loves us, not to try to earn these things. Also, True Christianity is not just a religion, it's a Father - child relationship with God

    it’s hard because, when my first soccer game in the season when i was in 1st was good because i never payed attention to anything but me playing and scored 6 goals and carried my team that game, went home, i got congratulated. after that game, I always used to pay attention to what my dad would think because whenever we would train he would always get mad if we didn’t do something right and that sticks with me in any sport i play, if i mess up a play i look at my dad, it’s stuck with me, even when i play with other people when i mess up i get nervous and think about what they think of me, i don’t know how to get back that feeling of my first soccer game and not caring and just playing the game, whenever my dad isn’t watching me play i never get nervous, because my mom never gets mad at me in sports for doing something wrong because she just wants to see me have fun and play and she knows that i get nervous and scared whenever i get criticized

    • @markkeepsGod1st
      @markkeepsGod1st  4 месяца назад +1

      Yea that’s deep bro. I would recommend trying to have a conversation about it with your dad and just let him know how you’re feeling. If that doesn’t work, whenever your dad gets mad at you try your best to just shrug it off. Tough situation, but I’d say try talking to your dad. See what happens.

    Man I don't even know what I am going to do. Got cut 7th grade worked my a$$ off 7th grade summer and had so much confidence until I made the team in 8th and all my teammates started doubting me. After season ended with 2 points the whole season and i knew I was better than everyone. Then my freshman year started and I thought man I'm going to be the best one here I cant have a bad season again. Now here I am freshman year no confidence at all started some games but struggled with confidence. One game I played with confidence and had 8 pt's with 2 blocks 3 assists. I don't know when Ill have confidence again though man and I don't want to be this person again. Man I hate my self.

    #3 really resonates with me. Especially when you said you don't even remember the shots because you were so worried about the mistakes. I could drop 12+ points with a decent amount of rebounds or blocks and it wouldn't really cross my mind unless I thought about the good.

    My brother would 1v1 me in basketball everyday and he’d beat me every time. While we would play he would smack talk me and say I suck so now whenever I mess up I would say I suck to myself under my breath. Even though my brother is 4 years older than me and played basketball longer than me and wad always taller and bigger than me. My negative thinking came from that and all my life I would say I suck to myself and I let that pattern happen for too long now I don’t know how to stop.

    • @markkeepsGod1st
      @markkeepsGod1st  4 месяца назад +1

      I’m sorry to hear that bro. What you should do is write down all the reoccurring negative thoughts and become aware of them. Next, write down as many positive and motivating thoughts you can think of. So whenever your mind says negative thoughts to you, replace it with 3 positive thoughts. Drown out the negativity with positivity. That’s what I did.
