Unless the USMNT is going to stick to dogma in a 4-3-3, which I actually expect, then the need for another guy who can operate in a double-pivot increases... so just another reason to be laser-focused on the 6. I fully understand why people were against Gregg Berhalter, but we ALL MUST get behind the next manager of the USMNT, no matter who it is. This team will go nowhere if the fanbase continues to be divided, negative, and toxic the way Berhalter 2.0 became. Do we care more about being right about the manager or winning? This shouldn’t be a question, but it certainly felt like winning was unimportant, even counterproductive, to most of the fanbase during the last 12 months or so.
