Panhandling is not that serious. Also any cop that would hurt a service dog isn't worthy of wearing a badge.
Not that serious? Supreme court has ruled it is not a crime to ask for money. Pangandling is not illegal. aggressive panhandling is though, which this is not.

The first two officers are a disgrace. How dare they do that to a veteran. And How dare that officer taze the dog. If it wanted to be malicious, It would not have let go of him, and the dog would have been more aggressive.

I agree. We need more justice. At some point cops need to understand that people will get fed up with them treating people like this.
These two officers were not out to enforce the law - they were out for an ego, power control fix. They should be immediately removed from the police force because neither of them have the temperament or the wisdom to make good judgement calls and neither are able to separate their ego from their job.
As this is the attitude of a lot of law enforcement in some states.

The dog did not bite him and they are awful humans. So disgraceful and I absolutely feel for the man and the poor puppy. They have no idea what they have done or do they care.

I had to deal with a Wisconsin State Trooper in the fashion of the second officer, who pulled me over 3 times for mundane issue in the span of four years. In the end he just told me, "I like to pull anyone over for the slightest implication. I got nothing better to do this time of night but tag deer hit by idiots." It took everything that I had to keep my mouth shut.

Honestly… just comply with the initial order from the officer and all of these could have been avoided. I agree that they shouldn’t have been escalated to that point for either situation. Neither party was in the right for these situations.

The guy that got pulled over with the Lamborghini more than likely had a huge fact why the law chains in California to the officers have to explain why they’re pulling you over. It’s not a question. It’s a California law.
