To stretch natural hair without causing damage to the strands, I use stretch panels

  • A safe way to stretch out natural hair that has been heat damaged without causing further damage to the strands is by setting your hair in plaits or in this case I used CWKgirls SSS plates (stretch plates) followed by sitting under a hooded dryer to dry. Only the braided roots were blow dried on low gentle heat. cr@tresses_dee#stretchedhair #stretchplate #naturalhairtipsandtricks #heatdamagehair #durhamncsalon #naturalhair #straighthair #fyb #foryoupage

Yess totally agree. Though my hair is short I still find a way to do some type of heat-less method as far as stretching with rubber bands, but they tend to break my hair off so I was stuck air drying and I’d have to detangle right after especially if my hair isn’t moisturized at the time or sometimes I let it air dry without the rubber bands and then my hair would shrivel and get all matted smh. They definitely need this product in the stores 😅

I don't think it ever really took off. I heard some women got theirs but most didn't. I think she was having manufacturing issues or something. The ones in the video look like they are from a relaunch because the original ones didn't look like this.

Stretch panels, waveformers, jumbo rollers, african threading, and banding are all great heatless stretching methods. Tight braiding is sufficient for loose curls, but the methods above are better for tighter curls

Love this! Here is my suggestion,
Try using this method to hold hair in place when ready to wash with less one clip. See if it's easier to comb when wet . Bc with this method, you still have to comb out the tangles. Let me know if you try it how it goes.
