    Thanks for sharing, David! Videos like this make me feel more motivated to take twitch a little more seriously. Consistency is definitely my problem as I am always super busy, but you’ve got to make the time if you want to succeed! Another great video!

      Thank you, Jade! And I agree, consistency is definitely important. Even an hour every day or two can help a lot.

    the main problem for me is i feel like i've hit a plateau, i haven't been getting new followers or new viewers in a while. And whenever I do, they're always asking if I want them to design emotes and overlays. do u have any advice/suggestions for even smaller streamers who average 5-10 viewers such as myself?

      My best advice is to create content on other platforms, especially RUclips. Building a following on RUclips and then converting them into Twitch streamers actually works quite well.

    300 concurrent viewers you can stream as a 40k a year job. At a thousand it becomes a 100k a year job. Two thousand and more now it is big money which depends on your content and personality espcially when it comes to sponsors.

    • @matthewloscar2893
      @matthewloscar2893 День назад

      youre not making 40k even at 1000 viewers, did you even watch the video at all? maybe you can make 12k max, but definitely not 40k, plus jobs come with benefits and other stuff. get a job and stream as a sidehobby

    • @PlayLikeABoss-u5l
      @PlayLikeABoss-u5l День назад

      @matthewloscar2893 You're definitely making 100k with 1k concurrent viewers. You will get sponsors, add revenue with subs which is about 5k a month, and donations. The exception would be politics.

    • @matthewloscar2893
      @matthewloscar2893 День назад

      @@PlayLikeABoss-u5l sponsors pay 2k about 2k max, and theyre not consistent, subs, ads, bits and everything combined youre not going to be making 100k. but whatever you need to tell your mom to stop hounding you about getting a job, convince her not me

    • @PlayLikeABoss-u5l
      @PlayLikeABoss-u5l День назад

      @@matthewloscar2893 Devin Nash who owns a management type company and runs a RUclips/Twitch channel is laughing at you. Keyboard, monitor, and mouse sponsorship for some streamers with 1k concurrent viewers have made 100k sponsorship contract. Subs and ads don't matter it is just concurrent viewers since ads pays more than subs now.

    • @matthewloscar2893
      @matthewloscar2893 День назад

      @PlayLikeABoss-u5l wow! running a successful business WHILE owning a youtube channel makes $100k? who would have thought!!! man, I bet jeff bezos and mark zuckerberg make trillion off of youtube......
      combined profit doesn't matter, we are talking about twitch and only twitch, you will never make 100k with 1000 viewers on twitch, it's just impossible. youtube is different, if you pump out like 100 videos a day and get 1000 views on each, maybe I could see getting close to that 40k a year mark. but nobody with 1000 viewers on twitch is making 100k a year.
      you can make up stuff all you want, but I know and have more experience than you, and you're wrong. take it on the chin next time rather than arguing further

    Just giving some friendly advice. You may want to cross promote your Twitch here in your description tabs of ever video as well as the about section. I personally don't watch gaming videos but I'm sure you'll pick up traffic and new subscribers from people here on YT if you promote your Twitch as well as your Fiverr and any other socials. Also remind people in every video where they can find the links.
    All The Best 🙏

      You can! However, when it comes to monetization, you can only earn revenue on one platform at a time.

    Can you only see that when you have a min amount of followers? I just opened twitch and I don’t have the option to see if I generate income. , is it because I’m on iPad?

    So does this mean that a streamer that has, let's say, 2500 concurrent viewers on average, does that mean they're making over $40,000 per month?

    I've been trying to do this but I'm so confused on using obs or something like that and connecting it to twitch. And all these alert boxes and overlays and just making my brain short circuit. Someone said to just keep your channel simple without all the crap all over the screen and just have to basics. What is your opinion?
