Even tho we have some fire anime Summer 2024 season like this and The Sucide Squad Isekai, We have eaten too good for too long these fast few season and now we must pay the price. Cause i kid you not, besides these 2, there is 1 singular show that i'll be watching this season. There is literally nothing else that is worth watching unless you're a hot garbage enthusiast.
Now I’m gonna be Completely honest here, As someone who read the manga version of this arc, I will say that I didn’t really like it very much. However I AM still interested to see Doga Kobo’s take on it. And who knows, maybe I’ll like in the anime. Future edit: Man did this top half of the Comment age poorly. That being said though, I’m actually looking forward to something that will happen at the END of the season, and it’s EASILY my most anticipated moment of the season. So look forward to that.
I do like moments of the arc but I understand why people don't like it. Yet, my favorite are the END of the arc, as you said, but also, as a manga reader, how this play parallels some moments going on.
In the manga it was a very bland "this is how plays are made" guide. Looks like the anime might actually show more growth in the characters. Like I knew Kana becomes better because better actors like Taiki but the anime really made it clear how big of an impact this is to her.
Imo tho this was just the peak of the manga art, the story itself was fine, but the art was the peak of the manga as of now, especially that akane scene
