    And here we are in 2021, 63 years later, still having flooding in varied parts of the country and blaming it on there being more housing and nowadays the fashionable “man made climate change” . Nothing changes really especially the need to blame someone for every natural weather event.

      It flood 1968 l used to live near River at Ethelred Gardens Runwell l can remember it raining all day water was coming in front door and back door house was in water my mum and dad slept up stairs with my sister and brother outside there was water in road quite lot of water from drain out side l was only 10 years old at time though it quite exciting
