AppleTV's Invasion Episodes 1-3 Review | Aliens The Sneeze You To Death?

- The Salty Nerds review another AppleTV sci-fi show called Invasion, which supposedly stars Sam Neil, but take that with a grain of salt.
Invasion is written by the guy who destroyed the X-Men franchise, so you know it's going to look good but be absolutely terrible, and while Invasion isn't quite terrible, it is incredibly boring and filled with characters no one cares about.
The show has hot Japanese lesbians, deadbeat dads, school bullies, soldiers who fart on BBQ, some really awesome Instagram pictures of food, and aliens who will sneeze you to death. So by all accounts, it should be a great show, but unfortunately, the first three episodes were a disappointment.

Nah, space isn't as "cold" as people think. Air is cold because your body heat transfers to the atmosphere. Without an atmosphere, your body heat can't dissipate easily except through the water boiling away from your eyes, nose, and mouth (and lungs/throat, etc behind your nose and mouth) if open due to the lack of pressure. Eyes,nose,mouth might freeze from the boiling water, oxygen and nitrogen might boil out of your blood from the lack of pressure like getting the bends from returning from diving at the extreme end if you try to breathe, but most likely if you kept your eyes and mouth closed after a strong exhale, you'd live for several minutes with minimal damage unless you're exposed to lethal radiation or direct sunlight which could give you severe sunburn rather quickly with no UV protection.

Sometimes you watch a show you don't like and you forget about it. Not this one though. It's so bad i had to see people shit on it so i scoured RUclips for invasion reviews.

Did you notice clicking and metallic sounding noises when the Afghan guy came up on the black military guy in the desert. I think Jude is right, humans are being affected in some way because they seemed to be a lil something off about the Afghan guy. I’m not sure he’s 100 human.
The best part of episode 1 was when they offed Sam Neil. That sound chilled me to the bone!

Am I the only one who found Sam Neil's life changing story about the girl he saved from truck driving paedo, who then dies after being run over by truck driving paedo in his truck... So bad it was funny?
Reminded me of the Gremlins movie. Dad dying whilst stuck in chimney dressed as Santa, but the kids didn't know and lit the fire.
Only that was meant to be funny.

I watched the first episode and was … concerned. It started great with the Yemen scene and got watered down from there. Then found these recaps and I’m left wondering.. why is nothing happening??
They're taking a slow burn approach to this. Unfortunately, it's not the right approach.
This will decide if I watch this show or not.

Yes, and he's only in like 10 minutes of that episode, lol.
My suggestion is this, don't do week to week, give 3 more episodes if you feel like you can at least have fun talking about it do the show but if after 3 more episodes you don't like it just drop the show because there is an explosion of content right now as all the studios are making up for lost pandemic time

This show is not good. Woke and slow/boring
Are writers just rubbish these days or do guns get put to their heads ? I tried to watch Y the Last Man and it was just so bad and lol it got cancelled. If a random film forum had seen the script they could have told them what not to do.
The quality of writing in Hollywood is definitely lacking these days.

It’s an untapped market.
We find that Apple is putting out interesting shows that no one else is talking about, so yeah, we're kinda highlighting it. But we're not a dedicated AppleTV channel. We're going to cover movies and TV shows that strike our fancy, no matter what network they're on.

Other wise this shit was made for bat´s. There are so many dark scenes
that I don´t understand wtf the gaffer was doing. That is if there was one.
Yeah, its an extremely dark show. And not thematically! lol.
