Thanks for posting. I saw Dweezil twice before 2020. Both times the band was absolutely on point, but the crowd sucked in my opinion. They just kept yelling for songs they wanted to hear, like the band is just their personal jukebox or something? And everyone just sits the whole time... Get up, your at a concert. Sheik Yerbouti!
Thanks for posting. I thought it was a great show. Some people after the show felt they didn't get to hear the songs they wanted. If Dweezil started his next tour only playing Frank's songs on a kazoo I'd be there. Every bandmember kicked ass. Go see this tour if you can.
Yea it’s not a greatest hits tour. It’s a tour mostly highlighting songs from a certain period in Franks career. I’d prefer it that way. It makes for a better show
Caught several FZ shows during the 80's. The sound at this show was better than all but one of them. This show was longer than any of them. Certainly can't gripe about the quality of the playing. Lots of inventive twists in the renditions on this date. Can't see any rational basis for discontent from any well informed Zappaphile.
