They could’ve even had him as Tundra alongside Bi Han for the first time but instead they went for the absolute terrible route they did.
They did him dirty. Rain finally gets his own chapter just to get killed off 5 minutes later. And he should've been able to teleport since he's able to make portals but the writers choose when characters use their powers
Whether he's Sub-Zero or Scorpion, Kuai Liang's awesome (and yes, I do prefer him as Sub with Steve Blum's voice, but I doubt they'll ever give that back to us).
All these multiverse story modes they keep doing are ass. First MK 11 and Aftermath; then MK1 (which started solidly) and Khaos Reigns. They just can't make a good story mode.
MK11 is such a shame too as the MKX endings setup a perfectly good story that went completely unused. MK is such garbage nowadays. MKX was the last truly good one.
