I actually made a purchase on an AWD FTO with a 4g63t swap..(He's done over $20k in engine/transmission work...sold the car to me for $9k).it';s pretty much a cheap EVO Coupe (granted the EVO 9+ are still faster). Honestly though, it doesn't matter what the drivetrain is, since the FTO's FWD can still go insanely fast, but I'm all about having fun and understeer is a bitch in FWD cars :/

Alex 4G Eclipse Ello USA sister car owner :P. Yeah, the FTO does have oversteer on the turns which is unusual for FWD cars haha. Understeer in the wet, but most times the handling is really quite good. No drifting, but idc.. if I wanted to drift I'd do it in the GTR. The FTO is just a fun point A-B car. Do you have any pics of your Eclipse? I wanna see :D

Yeah, stability is more the point, with a fwd car that has most of the weight distribution in the front it's smart to have a wing on the back
@@notbilly5962 But it does indeed improve performance, as long as you're actually using it on the track. The main point for wings on a FWD is to balance out the weight destribution. Yes you will have less weight on the front wheels and increased air resistance, but you'll improve handling quite a bit depending on the car and conditions you're using it. Besides, there's nothing wrong with adding a tasteful wing to a car just for looks. Not one of those riced ones, but a tasteful one is no problem.

I used to drift a FWD corolla. You have to skid all 4 tires in like traditional drifting where only the rear tires break loose. The only way to pull it off is by shifting the weight to the outside tires and gunning the throttle to regain traction. I ebay more than one charger on RR12 like that.

+Ruftinator is300 is auto only, and if you want to really have fun in a car. go manual and pick is200. It's not nearly as hard to learn as most people say it is. You will save fuel as well and I don't reccomend going above 2.5 liter displacement anyway for your first car.
IS class is a great choice because lexus is basicly a luxury toyota and toyotas are bulletproof reliable.

Tuners... your exhaust still sounds like shit on public roads. Better than the ricer exhausts but if you're straight piping or cannoning your car.. it's annoying. Chasing extra horsepower on the streets is stupid imo (you barely gain any from exhaust mods anyway...it's hardly noticeable on the street, on a track it's a bit different ofc). Tasteful cosmetic mods? Everyone's tastes are different. For every mod you did to your "tuner" car there is another "tuner" who will call it rice. Get over yourself. Oh and AS IF tuners never crash. If you're racing on public roads, you're an immature driver (guess that makes you a ricer no matter what your mods are huh?). You wanna be a real car enthusiast? Get a track car. Keep it on the track. Otherwise you're a ricer and can deal with it. There's no shame in being a "ricer" the shame comes from being an immature driver and talking shit.

Shona I'm both. I'm just sick of all the ricer hate. Cannons are the only things that I can't stand on road cars. My "tuner car" is my track-car. It's for THE TRACK. Either way...hating on dudes just because they throw on cosmetic mods and then saying "OH NO BUT MINE IS DIFFERENT BECAUSE MINE IS TASTEFUL" is ridiculously stupid. Did you add a mod that only enhances the cosmetics of your ride and adds 0 performance? Congratulations you're a fucking ricer. Get over it.
+David Zee I was taking the piss.. I come from a place where no one uses the term "ricer".. which is great because it means there are very little snobby cunts around here. People mostly take Golf GTIs, Seat Leon's, Ford Focus' and add rims, new bodykit (factory bodykit not a ridiculous widebody) and lower it just a little, some of them are tastefully done, some of them border on riced (like the guys who put a blow off valve in their TDi)
I'm fed up with the riced hate too, it seems like you can't just add a subtle but tasteful visual mod to your car, like new wheels, without people claiming that you're a "ricer", it's fucking ridiculous.
+David Zee although I will say.. Suicide doors on an FTO is pretty riced. It just doesn't suit any other car but an exotic.
Shona Scissor doors, yeah it's rice lol (suicide doors are the ones on the rx8). I don't have to use them, I just thought it'd be fun to put em on. A lot of people get a kick out of seeing them too so *shrugs* At the end of the day no one can tell while I'm driving so meh. Honestly I like the look of scissor doors on low cog 2 door coupes. So rx7, lotus elise, miata, supra, and 3000gts...I think those body types can suit them. 4 door sedans like the Evo, Charger, BMW (besides the i8) and stuff like that not as much. Again, to each their own. The FTO isn't fast lol, it's just a car that I drive around for fun and that's that.

I can't believe thatmcar owners can be so stupid. I mean, I own a 375hp supra (not the one in my picture) and it looks like a sleeper, people try and race me and mostly ricers challenge me because they probably don't have any idea what car i m driving and even beat some of the tuners who face me. Soon hope to get at least 400hp out of her and try drag racing soon, people will love my exhause note as I fly by.
