Polyhydramnios symptoms like a sudden increase in belly size or firmness and urinating more frequently may indicate too much amniotic fluid or an excessive amniotic fluid pregnancy. An amniotic fluid overload with high amniotic fluid levels needs prompt polyhydramnios treatment and management. Swelling of the vulva can also occur with this condition. Recognizing the signs is crucial for ensuring the health of both mother and baby. Consulting a doctor right away is recommended if any polyhydramnios symptoms arise during pregnancy.

I’m so uncomfortable I’m scared he’s head down and they say great doing ok in there but the way they are treating me you think it was the worst thing ever!!! I have gestational diabetes not serious so I’m also scared.

Is 23 cm of fluid considered too much amniotic fluid? My doctor told me it’s due to my increase in carb/sugar intake over the last month (I started craving sweets in my third trimester). Currently 34 weeks with 23cm of fluid.
They have me cutting my carbohydrate/sugar intake and coming back in 2 weeks to see the fluid. I don’t have gestational diabetes but in anemic, have a low lying placenta, and vitamin D deficiency. Any reassuring tips you can give? ❤

Exact case here from Greece. 23 cm and 6.6. I am 32 +5 weeks and they told me to follow a diabetic diet for 2 weeks and come back for check again. No Gestational diabetes nothing but the past month indeed I was eating everything possible without monitoring....
