I soooo look forward to to your videos James. Too a guy in his sixties as well, you are truly an inspiration. When I'm watching you between patients, my daughters who work alongside me, will stop to watch along with me. We all love your videos. Thanks for all you do for us. The education is excellent.
Thanks for the response. And thanks for sharing; yes, the sixties are the new forties. Wow, what a blessing to have your daughters in the practice. Blessings.
Hi Randy, I have asked that question and am not sure. Right now, I will use the ZirCAD MT multi when there is room for the indicated connector size or a 3Y when there is a need for optimal strength, such as the CEREC zirconia or the ZirCAD LT, and then infiltration. Always good to hear from you.
Thank you for this video... You always DELIVER!!! Question: what is your preferred zirconia for posterior bridges? I have a tough time with shades. This morning, I prepped two lower posterior bridges. each is 3 units with a molar for the pontic. I need A-2 in the mouth. Thanks, Randy
Hello Doc. I do have the CS6. I acquired it after watching your videos. Not doing as much zirconia as I thought because of the extra steps and time involved vs emax. Now with prime zirconia I’m willing to try again and see if I can do zirconia chairside. Is the prime zirconia program already installed in the CS6 or do I have to enter it manually? Regards. By the way I do appreciate that always find the time to reply to our messages. Thank you Dr. Klim.
I am seeing zirconia and e.max with the Prime and CS6 being close to similar times. Anything new in the workflow will take a few cases to make it routine. Just so you know, you will need to update the Firmware for the furnace. Call your Ivoclar rep or go to the Ivoclar website to download.
I've been looking into PM7 for a long time but after some long research decided that MCX5 is much better , more accurate and it mills all the types of materials that PM7 does . Also EXOCAD is very unintuitive ,very cumbersome besides the fact that it has merged with Sirona for the know how . This represents my humble opinion . Anyway keep up the good work and looking forward to your content . Cheers
Yes, this is an interesting journey. Though Exocad is not as intuitive as inLab, it does offer features that inLab does not have. Exocad has really grown on me. Anyway, thanks for your feedback, all the best.
Katana ONE is a good product. When using the CS6, I have found the Prime works the best in my hands for aesthetics, and having more than one firing option for esthetic options has been appealing.
Using the speedfire oven, so the longer time to achieve better aesthetics using the "top" of the Prime block isn't an option for me , or is there a way to override pre-set? . Thanks James@@KlimDDS
@@paulmelnyk-d8f The Prime I believe is ~ 16 minutes in Speedfire and is good though. Limited to create options with Speedfire. Is a good furnace though, just limited.
Thank you keep going
we need people who give 100 % to their profession 🙏🇫🇮

I respect you Dr, you are a real teacher
Nice video, James. When will your in person course dates for 2024 go live on your website?
The first half of the year is posted. We will soon post the classes for Exocad and diagnostics. Thanks for asking.
Very nice indeed!
Thank you so much for all this amazing explain .we waiting for more videos and information .👍👍👍
Thanks. Alot more to come!
Do you have any idea for when we may havePrime bridge blocks? They are available in the CEREC software, so I'm sure it's planned!

For strength, I use two shades darker than the target shade, ZirCAD LT, and then infiltration to add the multi-effect and bring the value down.
