@@petercooper8274 ill agree fully. Jolenes Bugatti has taken years but Chads 40 is a few months,,doesnt that suggest anything ?? do Jolenes bugatti till on road finished please..this yt channel is very one sided me thinks..get real, get Jolenes car done
Nate did a fantastic job with the front end and fabrication of the hinges to make it work. His participation in the project and ideas helped Chad do a bang up job.
I think that the best thing you guy's did for your channel was to bring Dougy and Nate on side they just add that little extra to all the builds plus the extra humor
What a terrific idea Nate came up with the Front Flip Frontend Concept. It's a great example of 2 very talented artistic and mechanical wizards working together . Also sharing design ideas for the overall success of the Blue Hot Wheels Project. It was wonderful for Chad to publicly acknowledge Nate for his great idea on the Front Flip Frontend Concept. .
This 40 is quickly becoming my favorite build. And that engine is absolutely perfect for it. Thank you Jolene! You guys are amazing. Nate did an awesome job on the flip front.
Jolene, that shot at about 32:30, through the headlight hole ! Really one of the most interesting shots made on the frontend. This project is coming along. Making suicide doors & flip front end for it adds so much to the overall appearance. Great job guys. The end result is worth the effort.
I am loving the flip front end. Thanks Nate for the suggestion and making it happen. I know its not totally completely done by no means but what you guys have going on is awesome. The way Chad had all the doors open and the trunk and front end open looked really cool. And to Chad, bro you didn't make mistakes you didnt know you are building on the fly. So I wouldn't call them mistakes. You can fix what ever didn't come out when you cut the front end to open up. This is gonna be a BADASS car when its done!!!
I was searching the web for ideas on the hinges on a 41 Chrysler and low and behold this video poped up. Our cars look almost identical. In except the chopped top. Great idea though. I'm building my dream car after 55 years of searching. Just wish I had the garage you do but being a disabled vet don't pay enough for a concrete slab lol. I'm out in the dirt. But it's all good. I've learned a lot from your videos. Keep up the great work. Would love to have you take a look at my car and have you help a little. Just to have the bad Chad touch. Thanks again for the video and ideas.
I love this car its a child hood hot wheels to a lot guys in there late 40s to early 50s painted with the strips and oldie but goodie o. The trunk will be beautiful it will need to be a part of automobile history some day make it for the next generation to look back on your work as a learning experience thank you all.
40 Ford three window coupe, tilt front end, big block Ford engine, and suicide doors. This is going to be the best build ever. Great job team Hiltz. Bill
I did a flip front, on my 46 Ford…I used a Convertible Top set of electric hydraulic rams, for the power lift. Cut it at the chrome line…it worked great !
Chad you Nate and Doug work so good together as a team and get so much done and I love that you have a open mind and the things yall can do as a team is awesome and isn't Nate also a pretty good maçanic that car I do think is going to be one of your coolest builds so far. Can't wait to see yalls next move.
suggest cutting a 3" wide piece of steel & weld it across the inside of the cut on the fender. then re-cut the fender again in same spot to strengthen it and add a short piece to guide the front end down to the same gap. Maybe Nate can design & fabricate a wide handle for pulling the front end open. Design & french it into the top of the hood to hid it.
@BadChad Ok this build is awesome! Front flip, check. Suicide door, check. Now to freak everyone out, the trunk lid needs to be hinged sideways and you put a cool picture of Jolene on the inside of the trunk lid like they used to do with the hoods of show cars back in the day! LOL
This is the best one out of all the projects yet don’t get all weird on it it’s looking bad ass and I like the Hot wheels theme it was one of my favorite cars to
TGIF. Glad to see the engine got home safely. Theses guys are truly on another level so reminiscent of my shop days of old. As far as Jolene’s car it’s just going to be perfection like her camera work. Keep on keeping on great inspiration for us
Chad ...with the knowledge that you and Nathan has you can go to the moon. Combined i can see you come up with very good ideas and in future come up with very interesting builds..
You should have welded that on the inside that way it wouldn't make it look like a fiberglass Hood you can still see the seams in the hood and fenders if you didnt weld thwn in it would have looked better
On and up word ! It's opening up like a can opener went at it ! Great job so far Jolene ! Good job team Hiltz let's get busy Saturday ! Thumbs-up everything is on point !
There isn't a field where "two heads are better than one" comes into play more than in design. A designer/artist tends to get too deep into the complexities of a project and they lose objectivity. Also once you have a bunch of hours invested in some component of the project, you tend to marry it and you won't consider that maybe it has to go. It would really help Chad to have an outside designer come in once a week and give him some creative input. And Chad could do the same for him.
I would suggest putting your Zeus or whatever clips towards the ends of the fenders. That way they'll suck the body lines together when fully cinched down
I would of made the whole thing tilt fenders and all no seams but where the hood shuts thay look cleaner that way my buddy did his that way can't even tell it's a tilt front end very sick looking
Damn, if i was allowed in Canada, I'd want to come work for you. Keep up the good work. And I am serious about the antique automobilia that I have I'd give to chad. 🤷♂️ I'm about 87mi from the border/alberta area. I also still have access to the Mopar graveyard with 30s 40s trucks and 60s cars next time you're in the states hit me up brother.
That’s going to be bad ass with that motor sticking out of the hood whatever you pay Nate you should slip him a nice bonus dude is worth his weight in gold

Nate and Chad make a great team when working together, their skills complement each other.

My cousin and I did the same thing to 85 Chevy S10. It looked the same way in the rough. And it came out beautiful.
Nathan is one hell of a mechanic and engineer!!! Wow!!!! Awesome 😎
Tilt front end and suicide door look great
I have never seen another you tube video with such quality camera work!Jolene has some seriuos skills!!
Chad you Nate and Doug work so good together as a team and get so much done and I love that you have a open mind and the things yall can do as a team is awesome and isn't Nate also a pretty good maçanic that car I do think is going to be one of your coolest builds so far. Chad, you and Nate work great together. That rig is going to be awesome!
Chad installing the door hinges, and Nate fabricating the hood hinges. What a team good job guys.

Nice job, man. It looks really cool! I would use those old leather bonnet/hood straps to hold it in place.
Yeah that flip front end is sick
use a couple linear actuators hold it down and raise it with ease
Very nice the flip front end!!!!!
Just love watching ❤how it's changed 👌 ❤
Great job fellas that's gonna look cool when she's done

Nathan in action is an act of alchemy ie. making things from junk............ HE'S THE MAN !!
Looks good…you can use hidden hood latch like they use on custom trucks.
I'm enjoying this build. Keep the doors swinging opposite. Cooler than dang it.
Very nice work Nate and Chad looking good Good video Jolene
This is going to look awesome. Well done

Flip front end... awesome!
Nate is magic and funnier than he knows. Chad has done well in bringing him on board.👍👍🇨🇦
Use hidden latch something like a old style Bonnet latch pin and lock or door lock .fit them inside where you cut the fender.
That’s going to be bad ass with that motor sticking out of the hood whatever you pay Nate you should slip him a nice bonus dude is worth his weight in gold
