As always, excellent pick ups again! Wear that Dune as SOTD not just in bed so people can smell that stunning masterpiece. 😃 Diva is like a deconstructed version of Coco Chanel. It's like Jacques Polge was practicing with Diva then he perfected it when he created Coco the following year. They have some (maybe a lot) similarities. Diva is discontinued although it's easily available. Get a big bottle if you can. L'heure Bleue is stunning in any concentration and formulation. I can only imagine how gorgeous that vintage LHB is.

English Leather was originally made by MEM ... you'll want to compare that version to Dana. I will always own Gucci No1 and Gucci No3 (women's). Gorgeous scents! Diva, Ysatis, Fendi and Sung were four beauties many of us wore to pieces! ... they were really popular and for good reason. Christian Dior Dune, and yes, yours' is vintage, is so interesting ... nothing quite like it. Tabu is one to know! ... a She Wolf of a fragrance. Stetson is awesome and I KNEW you were going to reach for Chaps. :D Chaps is delicious. Good Haul! ... love 'em all. Not familiar with the Patou. Have you tried vintage Joy (Patou)? ... just beautiful.

I have a late 90s / early 2000s joy extrait and it is amazing... cant imagine what the really old bottles smell like 😁

Yes I love it... but I probably wouldnt run about and buy another bottle once this is gone 😊🤷♂️

Ram, do you know any leather fragrance which is not classic but bottleworthy, and doesn't t smell like Tuscan leather?
Great britain & Cuir Ottoman if you dont want classic vintage fragrances ... cuir de russie / leonard pour homme / Antaeus (or even sport cologne) & Etro Gomma is what I would recommend if you dont mind kicking it old school 🙏

Goodie goodie goodie goodie goodie goodie goodie 😁 I loved Chaps too. And that Rasasi is actually the reason I never picked up Tuscan Leather. Some of the better middle eastern frags do leather and spices exceptionally well. Shame that so many clone western designers because it's like taking a massive step down from what is perhaps the oldest perfume genre on the planet. Luckily, price is nary an indicator.

Vintage Bel Ami is your favourite scent? Horses for courses. You rubbished Caron PuH. I'd take it over Bel Ami, without a second thought. My bottle is only 8 to 10 years old. I don't know if you were talking about a new one (I have no experience with those), but I don't need a vintage. I don't need it to be complex. It's easily better than A Taste of Heaven, Kiki, Rania J, etc. To me, someone like Johnny Depp would wear Bel Ami. I hate that association. I don't have someone in mind for PuH, but it's the quintessential cheapie.

I really like Caron Pour Un Homme in the vintage bottle that I have ... its the new bottle i really disliked... so the * here for me is for vanilla & lavender there really isnt a better vanilla / lavender scent out there IF you can find a vintage bottle... I just think the newest iteration is rubbish 🤷♂️
