No longer just playing soft-ass zone coverage giving the WR’s like 5 yards of space from the line of scrimmage, and leaving the middle open. Players were attacking the football and swarming to the ball carriers. Good Shit Mike
Mike MacDonald... you absolute legend. I am PUMPED for this season, this defense looks suffocating and straight-up nasty. Byron Murphy gets so much penetration off the ball, Tyrice Knight is a sure tackler, Derick Hall was in the QB's face on several occasions, the highlights are endless. So refreshing to see press/man coverage instead of those damn soft zones! Shoutout to Sam Howell as well, thought he made the right decisions and played within himself. Overall, a phenomenal game by the hawks -- I think we're going to surprise some people this year.
I feel like I wasn’t watching the Seahawks. It was so weird forcing punts on openings to drives and Coby Bryant looked amazing in the first half always being where the ball seemed to be heading. It was great watching the Seahawks defense beat down on the chargers.
Its scary to think seattle 3rd n 4th stringers looked like starters😮 coach mcdonald has this team focused reguardless of who is on the field. Seattle defense looked insane! Im excited! Go hawks!💙💚💙💚💙💚💪🏈

Ya Kenny looked exactly as I expected which was better then charbonet....wasn't even close, if he is healthy it needs to be a one two punch of walker and Kenny! Two dynamic backs

I had to watch the Chargers broadcast. My favorite line of the entire commentary was the color guy saying the Seahawks looked sloppy on third down at 10/17, meanwhile at this point in the game the Chargers were like 2/10
Seeing the hawks actually toss some screens almost looked unreal haha one vanilla preseason game and our offense still looked better then anything waldron did
It was nice to see the Seahawks starting defense minus maybe Baker, but Rattighan and Knight looked pretty nice. I do not follow the Chargers whatsoever so I have no idea if most of their starters on the offense started or not, but the defense looked pretty dominating with what was presented to them.
Holani and McIntosh did do well, and so did Lewis. Overall good RBs. The O line was not cohesive and QBs were not great on accuracy. Offensive did do great on third downs. Go Hawks!
Knew McDonald was going to make something happen with this young deep talented group of db’s. depth pieces and guys who won’t make the team playing that good as a unit is a great sign to me

Think we got our RB room set up assuming someone doesn’t come outta no where. Macintosh ran and caught the ball well, he's got excellent vision! Yet he totally whiffed on one block attempt and got blown up on a second one. Coaching has already said he needs to "clean up his blocking " George on the other hand ran good and caught the ball well. He doesn't show the vision like Macintosh but clearly has more power. He also gave the key block that sprung eskridge, and had a stunning block on a passrusher. Personally I think George might be a little ahead of Mac right now.
Like what I saw with McIntosh and Holani. PJ Walker does not lack arm strength and is most mobile qb. His issue is late on reads which should improve with time and familiarity with O and with receivers. O line needs better personnel and individual technique and discipline. Not bad for first ps game.

I think the things that should be really concerning for the Chargers are how thin they are on O-line past starters and they don't have a soul behind Herbert that could do anything but take sacks and commit TOs.
