Japanese speaker here, オトナの甘さ(otona no amasa) just means sweetness for adults. These are a range of kit kat flavours which are less sweet/more bitter. They are geared towards an adult palette hence, sweetness for adults.

Adult sweetness is basically a different line of flavors that are typically less sweet, a little more bitter, and have flavors that kids typically wouldn't get in candy, e.g. Sakura, barley, sake.

Japan usually call flavors that kids won't like "adult flavors"
I've just investigated lol, and apparently that Adult Flavour one is simply white chocolate flavour, and the wafers are actually "Fiantine" (or Feuillantine in French) in these (it's baked crepe dough). Well, they are basically white chocolate kitkats lmao
So... The price should be cheaper there with those ingredients.
Less sugar, and the wafer just a thin stuff.

Basically anything in Japan called "adult ___" is supposed to mean more complex/luxurious/sophisticated
In flavours this just means the thing will not be as sweet as that same thing targeted towards small kids
(like the "adult" version of kitkat will be milder in sweetness as compared to the normal ones)
Depending on the thing, the flavour of the adult version could be a little more bitter or basically less artificial than the normal one

Hey! The 大人の甘さ or "Adult Sweetness" is a thing they use in Japan to say that it's a sweetness that Adults will enjoy too. Not the loud kind of sweetness in Kid's sweets or chocolates.

Ok, I just found out what it means.
The first one translate to "Sweetness for Adult".
This particular kitkat is less sweet and have more dark chocolate (making it a bit bitter than the usual kitkat).
Both of these flavours aren't the typical flavour profile that kids like, hence why it's essentially labeled "for adults".

My favorite ones are the strawberry, matcha, and orange. There are so many KitKat flavors in Japan, it’s crazy.
Matcha KitKats are the bomb. Just a reminder, here in Indonesia, the packaging's different, and by the way Gully described _his_ packet, I can safely say Indonesia's is a tad bit sweeter.
But overall, the matcha flavor's still present and a joy to eat. Try some if you haven't you will not be disappointed.
The grain flavored one are my favorite. So mellow and nice, not overly sweet, and smoothly. Like standing in a perfect wheat field 🥺🤌🥰

Lived in Japan and I had the green tea KitKat. It’s really good, don’t recommend the apple fries in Japan at McDonald’s was disappointed. Do recommend the various flavors of lays chips. If your in the Philippines look for Durian ice cream it’s delicious.

If you actually wanna try a good wafer chocolate i recommend the Norwegian Kvikk Lunsj, the wafer is more airy and crunchy, and the chocolate just is better in my opinion
