My dad used to own a fast food place here in the UK and there fries (CHIPS) were unmatchable. I don’t even know why but I couldn’t ever stop eating them! I think they fried them in grape seed oil but surely that can’t be the only factor?

Here in Kuwait, we have Kfc’s spicy fries(like masala fries) which i personally love! McD is alright as the fries get brittle extremely quick.
Kfc also introduced dipper fries recently which I havent tried yet. And Wendy’s fries are tasty too along with Burger King’s new Curly fries🤤

My favourite are the mcdonalds one if you wanna get a fresh batch of fries from mcdonalds ask them for unsalted fries and then ask for salt packs on the side and salt it your self.

Fun fact DQ fries are sold by a company called Lamb Weston they sell fries to most of your major chain restaurants and vendors at events. They also provide chick fil a, Wendy's Arby's and White Castles fries. How do I know well I ship the stuff out!

the kfc fries here in Australia are so soggy, and taste bad after like 10 minutes! They also taste really bland. My favourite is McDonalds, and we don't have popeyes in Australia but I would love to try it!

McDonalds has specific metrics for their russet potatoes. They throw out any potato that doesn’t meet the size requirements. Wouldn’t be surprised if they started growing their own potatoes.

Hopefully you got them all from a halal chain because the oil while filtering gets mixed ever so slightly but it does with pig fried oil.
One drop is enough and I assure you that it does get mixed as the oil isn't changed everyday.

From the KFC package I’m guessing you maybe be in Canada and I follow a few Canadian reviewers and I see that quite a few KFC and Taco Bell’s are in the same building so that could be the reason they taste the same are they are just in different packaging

I agree with Popeyes. I've been to McDonald's just for fries.. fries and a drink through the drive-thru.. Eat some right away while they're fresh. McDonald's fries are only good for the first 5 minutes as soon as time goes on they deteriorate. I had Burger King's not too long ago and they were honestly really good.
