Was bummed that D4 didn't bring back the monk as it's my favorite archetype so I was so happy to see the class in PoE 2 ❤ can't wait to play

wait so gem slotting system is different now? you don't need to chain the slot it in the armor? thats much cleaner tho, but I wonder is it a nerf or not because, templar's totem use that chain slot

this is annoying for me as well. Won't stop me playing :D but i would love it if they had more destructible stuff, like dark souls. It looks so weird having giga explosions on screen but every object remains untouched
p.s. those fields should burn down from fire skills :)
Early version overside most likley - stuff like that happens in PoE like grass getting scorched by fire skills for example

Power fantasy that I hope to fulfill in POE2: big chunky knight with a greatsword, guts style melee violence; full on paladin holy defender of the weak, maybe with a spear of fire or something; and chi bullshit martial arts monk, imagine boneshatter style shockwaves but unarmed

Of course, one limitless pocket for gear is missing for what can fall out of monsters for a player... well, for example, you have a legendary or epic ring, belt, amulet, which has 64 cubic meters squared, that is, you have roughly 64 chests in the ring current in one ring... apart from the chest itself and what the player can wear about the standard... and then these things will be very valuable and they cannot be removed without losing what you already have in them (well, that is, you can put the belt, ring or amulet in a chest in which there is room according to the standard 😇)

I feel like poe 2 will lose the feel of path of exile, and lose most of it's current core players. What made path of exile path of exile is that you could break the game with unintuitive stuff, like the old immune builds, the constant players vs developers race, (patching the game breaking things every league and calling it "clever use of game mechanincs"). They want a smoother experience for new players and it's understandable, they want to gain a larger audience. It just a little sad, but they need to make sacrifices for a wider audience. Maybe it will be a reskinned D4 for a more casual playerbase, and that's fine but a bit sad to see

No, Blizzard is destroying the franchise just fine.
This is for hardcore arpg players. D4 will likely remain the choice for casuals.
All footage so far is from early campaign. Poe1 begins after you finish the campaign.

Why kill? They all exist side by side to be played when a league/season drops and then we move to the next.
