Nice shelter but I would have looked for a more protected spot from the wind.
This is a nice shelter , but there is enough long grass on the mountain to make 1000 rooftops , your roof should be 1 ft thick .

Thanks, I'm glad you like the video. I found the rocks about 100 meters from where I built the shelter, in a kind of quarry where pieces of a large rock were scattered 🙂

What country is this? The wind is horrific! A spark could burn the whole damn mountain down....well that was extreme...but the wind does look like an issue. Not for you though👍 Great video. I'm interested to know where this was and if you have more like this planned. If so, I'm in. I'll be watching for it👀
In Ecuador, in the Andes mountain range at 2500 meters above sea level. Very windy this time of year 😔🙂

It was a problem that night I almost lost the roof because of the wind but from mistakes you learn and improve 🙂
Is the dry that a fire risk.
You are right, it was the rainy season the grass was wet, but take all precautions not to cause a fire 🙂
