this game needs a remake, so few had played it, but so much work was put into it
Not going to happen the studio/ip was bought by a company that only makes phone games so trash like Valkyrie Anatomia - The Origin - is all were going to get.

i plumed everyone.. thinking i am unbeatable.
until Freya put me down.
Plume everyone and Freya beats your ass I think the only time we see someone actually beating Freya would be Loki honestly haven't seen silmeria but by covenant and VP lenneth Freya seems to only lost to Loki who also beats Odin as well but lenneth beats Loki.... As for wyl even when he gets to destroy lenneth's vessel he still hasn't won and he would still suffer in hell to be honest at least the endings are kinda tied to how many you plume I guess which also means there are units you can't get as you need specific amount of plume to enter said route

Just don't plume too much people until you reach Chapter 5.
In my own personal (first) playthrough I just plumed 2 people in Chapter 2 to enter Path C and DID NOT plume anymone until 3rd/4th battle in Chapter 5.
In order to collect plume skills as much as possible in single playthrough from Path C characters.

I like path B the most. The battle vs Wylfred's father is epic.

-which route/ending depends of how many X you use
-though it's recommended with the "best" route/ending first where you used X the least
-each route has different playable character
Wylfred hatred for Lenneth is quite misplaced. It's not like she killed his father, whether or not she takes him as an Einherjar doesn't change the fact that he died in battle
To Wylfred and some people Lenneth is a death goddess and takes people away not chooses them as an Einherjar when they die.. Even Arngrim thought she was just a death goddess

I thought the one in which Wylfred's father sacrifices himself is the canon route ?

Probably not actually. Freya is wrathful and would have made him suffer, but she is capable of compassion, mercy, and restraint. She is not a psychopath. Eventually she would have stopped his suffering. Not so with Hel or Ailyth. Their whole MO is nothing but endless suffering and cruelty.

I remember valkyrie anatomia extended wylfred's story. It was nice to conclude that he sided with lenneth and wore his Dad's armor

This is the first time I saw the bad endings. I don't like anyone dying in my party so in all of my playthroughs of the different story branches, no one died. I always get the best ending.

This Requiment Ending Of Convenant Of Plume Is So Easy. Get Best Ending With Not Using That Plume Before Chapter 5
Though the "best" ending final boss is hard on 1st playthrough due to lack of plume skills.
Thankfully, plume skills carry over to future playthroughs.

No no, It's lenneth, silmeria, and hrist that are sisters. Freya is the goddess that relays orders to the valkyries and is basically odin's right hand man

The original Valkyrie Profile was meant to be tactical. They made this game because they wanted to create their original vision. Quite frankly, it worked out fantastic as a tactical rpg. Stop being a baby and stfu.

This wouldn't happened regardless though. And he's responsible for his own actions, her father dying doesn't give you the right to kill people especially your comrads.
I honestly wish this had been a side scroller just like the 1st game. Could have still looked amazing on the DS, instead they went with something that looks unimpressive even for the GBA. It kind of looks like something that should have been on the GBA honestly. The DS wasn't that far off in power compared to the PS1 honestly.
The story is incredible, but I feel it loses punch due to the tiny sprites that don't have much detail. Hell, FFT's sprites had more detail than this. The game is great, but I really just wish the in game character sprites were bigger w more detail like what we got w the PS1 game. There's no reason this game couldn't have had bigger character sprites.
Its not that it couldn't, they just chose not too. There's a lot of games on DS with this sprite work however.

@@Raytheman581 it very well may have, when ppl saw it wasn't like the previous games they knew & loved. It was part of why I didn't buy it back then.
@@skins4thewin On the flip side some people bought it because it was different(and not a lot of people played the other 2 anyway), it actually had better sales than VP2 in japan, which was like the original game. Remember FF got popular when the game changed, even FFXII was more popular than FFX.
I love the VP I.P, but lets not act like it was so popular that changing it would really affect sales all that much lol. Most of tri ace games were really really niche.
The new VP game that came out is crap, not cause its different, but because its just not a good game. It sucks lol.
