I didn’t see anyone else say this but 2 main points regarding rules that affected the outcome:
1. Since using the surge token is a free action you cannot do it before the ai action kicks in (for example moving speed3 on ai move or aiming before ai attack)
2. On duel of the fates both engaged droid units illegally used aims (no green tokens due to dotf)

It’s done well in a few tournaments so far-Don
Defense dice were wild today! I played a game this morning where my saber tank did impossibly well, saving 13 for 13 against three sets of Swoop Bikes that rolled some wild crits. Games where the Dice Gods seem to make all the important choices are always interesting.

Wow! To think there are players in my area saying Experimental Droids is a terrible Battleforce. I’ve even told them to ignore the snail tank, it’s garbage, but they don’t listen. I will hopefully run it soon.
Cad’s defense rolls reminded me of my first time using him. It’s nice when he shrugs off that much firepower.

Ya idk what they were thinking with the Snail and the cheaper Magna are not worth the 94pts for only losing 12pt overall. The battleforce is best for BX, Droideka and B2.
Do love how the battleforces are shaking up the factions and give some interesting buffs/nerfs. Some of the latest videos have some insanely 1 sided dice and, no offense Joe, but its nice to see Don win a few😂😂. Awesome vid as always guys, love what you guys do❤

Another great match! Well done Don! Great game for Joe too; dice be finnicky sometimes but nice lists, great models and smart strategies. Everything we want in a game! I don't like when a player concedes a game, it's a dice game, and Maul was in a good position to a least fight for a draw IMH :-)
We generally concede when they is almost no chance of winning. Also we film late so it’s often almost 1am when we are done -Don
Great game! It's nice to see what the experimental droid list can do in a different configuration than before. The snail really limited what could be done, this is a stronger list overall I think.

Much better list this time, Don. I really dont like the new, cheaper Magna. Everything they lose for a 12pt decrease is ridiculous. 2 b1 with repair droids and 2 b2 with HA and and an extra B2 is awesome.

Experimental droids are pretty nuts. But I feel like sniper bx's might be a bit better then melee with this force personally.
Was cool to see dekas put in work, love seeing them on the table.

I think the AI kicks in before free actions tho so not sure all those aims would have been there for don.

Good to see more X Droids, although this sort of reinforces my opinion that the only good thing about it is the free action surges. The features of the BF were absent in the game. It’s is nice to see something make the BX unit a good choice, although it takes stripping the Magnas down to near nothing. Also, the free action token can’t be taken before AI attack on B1 and B2 units. The AI action has to come before the free action surge, so that last shot with the B1s would not have had an Aim, not that it made much of an impact.

The Snail is just bad in the BF. I'm not sure what AMG was thinking on that one... especially since it can't benefit from the free actions.
Don did a much better job with his list this time.
In round 2 cad bane shot at the destroyers, they should not have had shields. They were in wheel mode at the end around one.
Wheel mode ends at the end of the round so they get their shields back at the start of the next round. Not their next activation -Don
Cad shouldnt get 2 dodges when revealed.... he only gets those at the start of the activation phase if he doesnt have an order.
Edit: Now im at the end of the Video and he should be dead but he's still alive 🤣

lol, true we should have given him the dodges but you don’t know he wouldn’t have rolled 1-2 shields more and lived the same. Thanks for watching.

@Zeromus5555 I mean math can say a lot…. But that doesn’t mean the dice will agree… I blanked on three so the odds of me rolling two more with paint are decent…. Not like it really costed him the game or anything anyways lol. Thanks!
