The old guards in the beginning are American movie legends Dick Van Dyke, Mickey Rooney, and Bill Cobbs. Such a treat to see them all together like this. Unbelievable, really.
The only one still with us is Dick Van Dyke and he is 99 years young ☺️. He still works, he is in the new Coldplay music video! He had his own sit-com back in the 60’s, The Dick Van Dyke Show. So many credits to his name.
I actually love hearing your predictions and guesses on movies based on their title. Reminds me of my own dad and his funny made up bedtime stories that he just made up as he went along. :D
The two biggest stars in this movie are Mickey Rooney (Gus, the little old man), famous since the 1930s with his Andy Hardy movies, among many, many others including "Boys Town" and "Babes in Arms". The other being Dick Van Dyke (Cecil) famous for many including "Mary Poppins" and "Chitty Chitty Bang Bang Bang" and his tv series Dick Van Dyke Show. Mr Van Dyke is actually still alive at 99 years young! Mr Rooney did pass away at 93. By the way, Ben Stiller's real mom, Anne Meara played the lady that got him the museum job in the beginning of the movie. Very funny actress also famous in her own right. Thank u as always for ur reactions, love ur great sense of humor!
Dick Van Dyke has been in so many throughout the years. If you've watched " Mary Poppins " you'll see a younger one. He plays 2 rolls in that movie. He's great at comedy work. If you want to see more of him look him up online. It will show you all the movies he's been.
"Roles" not "rolls". Rolls are round pieces of bread you eat at dinner. Looking him up online will "show you all the movies he's been (in)." Really? That's kind of stating the obvious.
The cute woman you said you recognized is Carla Gugino. She starred with The Rock in the movie San Andreas. Jedidiah the cowboy was played by Owen Wilson. You may recognize him from Wedding Crashers along with Vince Vaughn. This movie is so entertaining! Thanks to Stephanie for the request!
Thanks Stephanie! Great reaction. Love the trilogy. The 3rd is Robin William's last movie he was physically in. I believe he voice acted one additional movie before he passed.
I did not know that about Robin. I miss his presence so much. When I was at Disneyland CA adventure they had this show where the giant Aladdin genie comes out of the sky saying HELLO in full Robin Williams volume and I burst into tears. I don't have the link, but look up Robin Williams talking to Koko the Gorilla. It's magical. The gorilla actually recognized Robin from a movie. It blows my mind.
The Egyptian is played by Rami Malik, an actual Egyptian. He starred in the award winning show Mr. Robot, and also as Freddie mercury in the Academy award winning movie Bohemian Rhapsody.
The guesses are nice to include. We can always skip them if we don't want to listen to them. But they generally offer a fresh take on movie titles and what they could lead people to expect.
Check out "the secret life of Walter mitty", its a gem and Ben Stiller produced, directed, and starred in it. Very very good movie. It'll make you want to go and explore the world
Loved your guess as to what this movie might’ve been about - particularly because it was close to one of my favorite childhood books! “From the Mixed-Up Files of Mrs. Basil E. Frankweiler” (by E.L. Konigsburg, 1967) the novel “follows siblings Claudia and Jamie Kincaid as they run away to the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City. The museum becomes a place of adventure and mystery as they explore art, sculptures, and antiquities, and even sleep in antique royal beds.” [Quoted from Goodreads]
@ I haven’t read it since my childhood years, but it definitely left an (adventurous) impression on young me - especially when combined with “My Side of the Mountain” - the story of a young, runaway boy who creates a home in the hollow of a large tree (written by Jean Craighead George in 1959)
the 2000s which was my childhood of films and exciting adventures, their were and still are groundbreaking films and this is of my favorite childhood films, partly got me into history, and books, I recommend watching the sequels as they explore the amazing creativity in this trilogy along with the characters, comedy and a lot of emotional moments
Attila the Hun is a super Genius. He was able to pick up modern American English with a few sentences translated by an English speaking Ancient Egyptian Pharaoh.
I believe the museum is in Washington D.C. (Virginia) I remember going there for a field trip when I was younger. It’s been a long time since I’ve gone back

No kidding. 😂😂😂 Did google tell you that?
@@AdamJ09303 He doesn’t know any of these actors. Don’t be a jerk 🙄
@@AdamJ09303 That was entirely uncalled for. What’s wrong with you.
@ I agree! ☺️
R.I.P Mickey Rooney (1920-2014), Robin Williams (1951-2014), & Bill Cobbs (1934-2024)
Definitely recommend watching the second movie Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian
Added to my list, thanks for the suggestion.
There are 2 more movies of " Night At The Museum " with Ben Stiller. They take places in other museums. Fun to watch.
5:44 - He (Ben Stiller) is actually talking to his real life mother (Anne Meara).
I actually love hearing your predictions and guesses on movies based on their title. Reminds me of my own dad and his funny made up bedtime stories that he just made up as he went along. :D
A little tidbit: The woman helping the dad get the job is his real life mother.
I clicked so fast, knew you were gonna love it! Thanks James, another great reaction.
This is the museum of national history in New York!

He is a TRUE Hollywood legend of old. He just turned 99 years old and he's still young at heart! 🥰

Oh yeah, thanks. I thought she looked familiar.

Such a fun movie.
The red haired lady at the job office is his mom Anne Meara.
Love that
Kid's book where they captured the giant? Gulliver's Travels, by Jonathon Swift?
The Egyptian is played by Rami Malik, an actual Egyptian. He starred in the award winning show Mr. Robot, and also as Freddie mercury in the Academy award winning movie Bohemian Rhapsody.
Rami Malek isn't an "actual Egyptian". Even though his parents were Egyptian, he was born in the USA, so that makes him an actual American.
@@eatsmylifeYT no. He's egyptian. 🙄😒
@@YorkshireInsight26 He holds both Egyptian and American citizenship. That's not the meaning of "actual Egyptian".
Love this movie. You think of Robin Williams as this crazy adlibbing comedian, but he made a GREAT Teddy Roosevelt. :)
I loved him in Good Will Hunting and Dead Poets
Great one Steph!! Thanks!! Such a good movie! 🍿

Thanks for the feedback
Night at the Museum 5: Home Alone at the Museum. Sounds good. 😊
Check out "the secret life of Walter mitty", its a gem and Ben Stiller produced, directed, and starred in it. Very very good movie. It'll make you want to go and explore the world
This is one of my favorite Ben Stiller movies aside from Tropic Thunder.
I wonder why nobody's ever commented that the Tablet of Ahkmenrah looks like an iPad or iPhone.

Theodore Roosevelt Sr. was one of the founders of the Natural History in NYC.
Awesome Movie and Work Bro, Thanks again!!😎👍👍👍 Greetings from Helsinki, Finland🇫🇮🇺🇸🇫🇮🇺🇸
The woman who gets him the job offer at the museum is Ben Stiller’s actual mother, Anne Meara.
Love that

Stephanie always has great picks. How about One Fine Day? I think you'll like it.
Fun. Solid movie that my kids love and I can laugh some too.
I live for your theories based on the titles! I can tell you read a lot.😂
Thanks! I do try to read as much as I can.
Attila the Hun is a super Genius. He was able to pick up modern American English with a few sentences translated by an English speaking Ancient Egyptian Pharaoh.
1:47 loved your guess 😂💜
“Some people think it’s funny. Some people think I’m an idiot.” It’s possible to be both but I enjoy the guesses & I don’t think you’re an idiot.
Love Teddy portrayal.
Just love Robin
LOL 🤣 COOL 😎
I believe the museum is in Washington D.C. (Virginia) I remember going there for a field trip when I was younger. It’s been a long time since I’ve gone back
Hello James, Great Family Film!
Should be right up your alley.
Wow opening synopsis gues is almost kinda right, if you consider teddy Roosevelt a boy scout
13:58 Gullaverds Travels
A mesh of comedic geniuses between Ben Stiller and icons like Dick Van Dyke and Mickey Rooney that is magic I would look into some of their old films
Keep making guesses.
Now and then you get it spot on and it's awesome
I always do my best
THANK YOU STEPHANIE!!!
Gulliver's Travels
apparently the orange book.😏
Love this movie !!!!!! I know you’ll be laughing.
9:18 guilty. I definitely would 🤦🏻♀️😄
I used to work for an art museum. I wanted the night shift just in case THIS happened. Silly me.
Fun movie. 😂
Love this movie!!!
Such a fun movie! 😀
Hey I'm an adult with no kids and I loved it. also pr marketing stunt was my first thought as well but i'm taking a bunch of marketing classes lol
always make guesses on movies😂
Got, I liked my guess on this one. Wouldn't you watch that?
Paul Rudd looks pretty the much same today as he does in this movie
I wonder if he's got a fountain of youth.
You should watch Ben Stiller skateboarding in Walter Mitty.
Thank you, patron!
I remember requesting this when you watched dodgeball so happy to finally see it
Aww you missed the post credit scene.
Loved your reaction.
Oh man, I'll check it out
@AwesomeUSMovies it's just two small separate ones. The second is neat because it showcases Dick Van Dyke's skills.
That is quite an interesting guess! Where can I see that movie? Love your channel! Love your energy!
Thank you so much. Yeah I want that movie too
Classic movie thanks steph
Ahhhh! I forgot Ricky Gervais was in this!

The other 2 are fun watches as well
I hope you react to "Night at the Museum II" I think you'll love it as well...
😅You guessing the plot only with the title is like your personal signature… keep at it.

You know about the Easter Island heads? I have a picture.
