Personaly i own IN MY ROOM Eleiko competition iwf 28mm (calibrated with blue stickers !!! ) for Weightlifting ....... and a another great brand 29mm for IPF movments .........I NEVER CAN TRAIN WOTH MIXED BARBELL /DUAL MARK ETC ETC......no im a Purist . For homegym important of affective link with gear ...... never forget...
Why not mention your rack bar? I have one, and I consider it your best offering for home gyms, since most people will be lifting in a power rack or similar.
Hello Robert, how do you like your Rack Bar? I’m thinking of getting one as I mainly squat, chin, dip, press, and deadlift. What discs do you use with your Rack Bar?
@@keysersoze5920 I like it very much. it is super satisfying to be able to twist and move the loaded bar, without tearing up the J-cup. Only downsides I see, is that I cannot do snath-grip deadlifts, and that Eleiko put wider, olympic style sleeves on the bar - not thin powerlifting style sleeves. which means the bar weighs around 20,2kg. But those are minor things IMO.
@@RRKristensen Thanx for your info, Robert. I have the Vulcano discs paired with my stainless steel Ironwolfe barbell (I hate rust). Wish the Eleiko Rack Bar was also stainless steel, but I think I’m gonna get one nevertheless cuz it’s a quality barbell.
How often can I brush my bare steel bar with a steel or copper brush to remove rust until the knurling gets damaged? Can I buy a bare steel barbell and clean it every month and the knurling will be aggressive and good for decades or will it get less sharp? Thanks in Advance!
I love the disc plates...I prefer the sport disc over the calibrated because of the noise...I do not want to wake the neighbors and especially my Wife🏋🏽♂️
my gym has an eleiko bar but there is no weight shown on the side. The only number on the bar is next to the Eleiko Logo with 1105 printed on it. Does anyone know how heavy this bar is?
Hi MatthewMoor, and thank you for your comment. The bar weight is most likely 20 or 15 kilograms, depending on numerous factors such as the bar diameter, coating, flange width, sleeve length, knurling, etc. Regarding the number 1105 next to the logo, these are the bar production dates - month and year. If you want more information about the bar, please send an image to info@eleiko.com. Have a great day!
It would be nice if you would have a link in your description to your shop

@@keysersoze5920 I use generic brand bumper plates, but I plan to upgrade to ELeiko Vulcano discs sometime this year.

@@RRKristensen One more thing...would you prefer the all-rubber Sport Training Bumpers over the Vulcanos?
What about the Rack Bar and Vulcano Discs?
Hi @Eleiko does your 20 kg Performance Powerlifting Bar have ribbed sleeves or smooth sleeves ?
