I love this world. Currently I'm playing as Mithirels and I'm trying to help Fintan take over the city :D It is so fun to play with this family, especially all the drama that can happen around it, Fintan disliking his son, Mithirels beeing almost broke etc. It has been for me one of the most entertaining playtrought ever

I think that look of that movie theater (6:30) is based on The Globe Theater (placed in London, built in 1599 by Shakespeare's playing company ;)) which is nice touch

I'm loving this series so much. Revisiting Sims 3 is the best.
Jennifer and John Burb are a fun family to play in TS2. They have a daughter, Lucy, who is quite delightful. They did a fair job continuing TS1 Lore since John (Johnny) had been a farmboy. His father, Brad's, interests included weeding, watering and soup. John is very family oriented and Jennifer is a fortune Sim who is athletically inclined.
With all the interactions on the egg, it makes sense that how you treat it influences the dragon you will get. In TS1 Makin' Magic there are three different kinds to get depending on how much you sing, rock and play music for it. I haven't played with one since TS2 first came out so I don't recall the formula.

After you've familiarized yourself with all the Sims 3, next is all of the Sims 3 mods. There are so many good and naughty ones. You've just started scratching the surface for sims 3 stuff.
May I recommend: Start with NRAAS if you haven't yet for story progression stuff.
Side bonus - No more Sims 3 updates. You probably never have to update ANY mods ever again.

I am glad to have seen this! I thought you had given up on doing this series since I hadn't seen anymore, but I see the date says you posted this months ago... c'mon RUclips, get your act together, this is important stuff! :) Yeah, Jennifer is Daniel's sister and also later marries John Burb to become Jennifer Burb. I loved watching you explore this world, as I never got it when it was new. I thought it was just a dragon world, but it's beautiful! Thank you for the opportunity to see it and to see it through your eyes :)
You just got the black armored dragon, the rarest of them all lol. I rarely get it

I've completely forgotten about this world. But I haven't played Sims 3 in almost over a decade. Can you move these Dragon's witb you to another world, if you'd like?
yes they can go in your pocket. you can also get them in buy mode

I'm not sure, but I think Mary Sue is supposed to be asian so she should be kinda different than Jennifer. I haven't checked Mary Sue's appereance in TS3 though, so maybe I'm wrong haha 😅
Mary-sue is the adopted daughter of the oldies family, yes she is Asian in the sims 2. In pleasantview every sim is in some way connected
You should try populated lots mods for sims 3. It makes a HUGE difference. So much more fun and entertaining!
the Sims 3 is the better game out of the Sims series, even better than Sims 4...
why..??..
is still open world sandbox, as much as an open-world can be done in a Sims environment, you can travel by car, bicycle, or bike/motorcycle or by horse (with Pets EP), walk, do some jogging, and more...
while in Sims 4 you can do none of that because it's based on what happens on the lot, not on the world...
at least that's my own opinion based on my preference, and I know a lot of other players feeling kind of the same...just look at the huge size of the modders and users of the mods community...it's bigger than Sims 4, even if Sims 3 it's older by some standards... and Sims 3 with mods greatly enhances the gameplay experience, much more so than Sims 4
they've - EA - launched Sims 4 as another cash cow, yet being clearly a failure compared to Sims 3, just look at the prices, everything in Sims 3 is more expensive than in Sims 4, because it's in higher demand, while not many are fond of buying Sims 4 products... they give away for free what's in Sims 4, while extremely rare is a sale going on for Sims 3
