Zeke Mayo South Dakota State 2023-2024 Highlights

6’4 Junior G Zeke Mayo has officially signed to KU after having an extravagant season for the South Dakota State University Jackrabbits. The KS native and Summit League Player of the year entered the portal with a 5-star rating and is highly regarded to be an impact player this upcoming season for the Kansas Jayhawks. Mayo put up an impressive 18 pts, 5.7 rbs, and 3.5 ast per game with SDSU. The Junior Guard ranked 1st in the Summit League conference in 3-pt FG’s and 3-pt FG% per game this past season, shooting an astonishing 39% from long range, 47% from the field, and 82% from the charity stripe. Mayo has a very adaptable game, as he can score from all three levels, having the ability to facilitate and play-make. The 6’4 guard is very shifty with his handle, making it difficult for defenders to keep him in front. He is able to create scoring opportunities in transition, out of ball screens, and off the dribble. His nature is shooting the basketball but also has a variety of counters readily available for great defenders who apply pressure.
