Ok, so those "reinforcement rings" are from old timers that still use a three ring binder. The kind with lined paper and three holes drilled in the paper. Since the pages tend to rip out the holes in the fragile paper, the reinforcement rings are used to reinforce or repair the three holes in the papaer. Love you Jasmin!
Jasmine, I appreciate your ability to speak so well in a language that is not your 1st language. You have a fun light hearted spirit and you are humble, a wonderful combination! Lastly, it is so helpful to have serious pro level players teaching us (me). Thanksamillion!
You're hilarious and full of personality. I'm so used to seeing your serious side when you shoot tournaments. Thanks for the ideas for training better.
The bottle is the one I consider to be the most important for when I started taught me quick how important a straight stroke is. I come back to that one when I find my stroke wondering.
I dont have a table at home. I setup an ironing board, put a large mirror on a chair, and can practice my stance and stroke and see myself doing it and if things look good. The water bottle test can also be done this way.
2:14 i use these rings to get the tightest Racks each and everytime. they are better than magic racks because they dont move. they work so well. takes about few minute to set up. save so much time in the long run.
Ralph Eckert is using a white pencil that taylors use for cutting woollen cloth for clothing as a tool to draw spots, lines, zones and targets on the table.
Thanks Jasmine Your tips and experienced insights are well received along with the delight of your personality. You are a great ambassador for the game. Bravo!
a piece of Stoff it is called I believe. The circle sticker (or reinforcment rings, if you wanna sound gschwollen) - last time I have seen them was in 1978! Brought back some memories of reinforcing paper holes and classifying them into an ..............Ordner. 😉Note to myself, must have training tool number 6, funny table with 6 holes. Call a Tischler.
I've used the 3-ring binder hole reinforcers for years but found something better. Tailor's chalk they use for marking up the cloth when altering clothing. It makes a nice clear mark without creating a bump like the reinforcers do and it cleans up easily. Just another idea.
They are reinforcement rings for when loose leaf paper, the kind that has holes punched into the left side of the page, can be placed in a binder with rings, (usually a 3 ring binder). The paper surrounding the holes of the pages often tear, and then the paper is not sitting in the binder the same way, or all of the holes tear and the page can fall out altogether. The reinforcement rings are placed on the loose leaf paper over the hole, hence the hole in the reinforcement ring, so the paper will again stay in the binder. In short they reinforce the torn paper to replace into the binder. Verstärkungsringe? They're sold in stationary.
Very good pointers! My first time ever hearing of using silicone spray, I gotta give that a try. Kudos on the Rempe ball. I have one, and it's definitely helped improve my aim. I use glass coke bottles, or if you have a wine bottle with a long neck, that would be better to help the stroke straightening techniques.
Jasmin, I have a tendency to sometime corkscrew my cue shoot. Is there anyway to stop this? I have caught myself doing this when I'm trying to just do straight on shoot.
reinforcement rings are easily found at most office supply outlets, they are commonly used for documents etc that are placed in 3-ring binders to allow the pages to last longer. A much better use for them is a ball spotter on a pool table though lol
Jasmin, love your videos! Keep them coming. The reinforcement tabs are made to repair or reinforce the hole punches on paper to go in a three ring binder. Work great for marking ball position as a bonus. Thanks again!
Hi Jasmin, ... thanks for the nice video ❤... will get for sure such a training cue ball 😊... Sorry to say respective write but the explaination and exercise with the bottle leaves quite some space for fantsies...😂 ... all the best
Used them all except the silicone spray. The Target cloth you can get by just buying Kim Davenports Target Pool game, it's a great tool for practicing getting back to the middle of the table, it also comes with a smaller target for training position on the rails.
I like using a wine bottle to hone my stroke. The long neck requires more precision, and the total length allows longer strokes. Plus, when you need a new bottle, you have an excuse to drink wine!
FYI, Jasmine. Reinforcement rings are made to repair or reinforce three ring notebook paper. However, some clever people found additional uses for them. Love your videos. Very helpful.
Loved the video. Any idea where we can obtain the spandex Target? I have the original Target pool and the target material is way too thick and a pain to travel with. I also have Bullseye Billiards targets, while they are spandex and great quality the targets don't match up with target pool which I love playing with friends at the local pool hall. Any help in a direction to go would be awesome.
I was breaking a rack of 8 Ball and the 15 ball shattered (1st time it's ever happened to me), so I carry one half of it with me everywhere I play. It's kind of my good luck charm.. Anyone else ever shatter a ball or have seen someone do it?
Hello from Bali, Indonesia. Great info. I have cue ball with red dots but how it helps my stroke? 🙄😁 Also what is your next tournament? All the best to you and Albin 🙂👍
Do a video how to overcome choking (if it's even possible) and another video how to deal with pressure, say for example you go from local tournaments to national tournaments. Why do we add pressure, why does the heart race, without our consent, why does the body act up even though we are calm in our minds?
I used a glass Coke bottle to practice stroke. I had to prop it on a piece of Masters chalk for the proper elevation. This helps with muscle memory, and the bad habit of chicken winging your arm in your stroke. It also helps to have a relaxed grip. The only time you should be gripping a cue tight is in a jump shot. Tight grips tend to hinder fluid motion and natural shape when using top spin. God Bless 🙏😇🙏
The first product (jim rempe training ball or likes) is only good once you don't use the best chalk on earth. TAOM V10 won't leave a mark anywhere , so use some cheap predator , silver cup, or masters 🤣
You should do a video about side spin, draw and the drills that help to get more precise with both skills. Or a position play video would also be great. Cute vids. Keep on creating girl!
Silicone spray is not good to use… some filipino players are using wax, or any spray chemical to apply on the cue ball, so the opponent will have difficulty to play or to control or even to pocket the object ball.. meaning to say they are cheating 😂

Punched...not drilled. Just so ya know.
Yes, we used a 3 hole punch. You add around the wholes of the paper so they won't tear out very easy. I'm sure they aren't used much anymore.
If its thick like a catalog, or a lot of pages stacked together, they are drilled. Just so ya know.
@@TopLineGear. Paper manufacturers punch em. Just so ya know.
@@james1795 You should check out the industrial paper drills made by Lassco or Challenge. Just so ya know.

Jasmin, you've got a good sense of humor. Nice to see someone have fun with what they do
The bottle is the one I consider to be the most important for when I started taught me quick how important a straight stroke is. I come back to that one when I find my stroke wondering.
It's really helpful in learning to shoot with the opposite hand too, which is especially helpful for bigger table sizes (Snooker).
I dont have a table at home. I setup an ironing board, put a large mirror on a chair, and can practice my stance and stroke and see myself doing it and if things look good. The water bottle test can also be done this way.
Thanks for the great idea!

You’re so great you’re even teaching yourself English words as you make these videos. You pronounced it perfectly first time. 2:31

you can also use a beer bottle which is great also .
Great ideas from a great player! I can't wait to get my daughters to the pool hall and practice!
Thanks Jasmin. I very much enjoy your videos..
where can i buy the target?

keep simple keep go............gooood
Jasmin you have great videos. Hopefully I see u next week at Derby.
I remember seeing Jasmin playing in a tournament at Viejas almost 20 years ago. She always looked so serious. I wondered what her voice sounded like!
The numbered Target cloth is something I could use. Do you have a link for this item?
Jasmin, I have a tendency to sometime corkscrew my cue shoot. Is there anyway to stop this? I have caught myself doing this when I'm trying to just do straight on shoot.
any idea where to buy those target practice cloth in europe or in germany? i couldnt find one here except in the US. ✌
Would the silicone spray make the cue ball to slippery and cause miscues

Thank you for the great video!
Thanks so much Jasmin. A question about the practice cue ball. Did you use special chalk to leave the mark or is the ball designed to take more chalk?
No just my standard chalk and it should work with every chalk. Of course some chalks might leave more than others. 👍🏻
great video Jasmin and I have used most of the tools especially the stickers and bottle. Is that your place? Really nice setup!
Great tutorial, keep them up. I have 2 practice balls. One is inside my aquarium lol . I still would luv and autographed white cue ball from you! Lol
Will you make a video over the break?
Of course 👍🏻… on my list 👆🏻
What do you think about pocket reducers as training aids?
Great tips thanks
Great video

Like always so cool video!!!🤩🤩🤩👍👍👍
Oh Hi😊😊 How are you?
I have noticed that pro players have their grip hand is forward. Any particular reason? Thanks.
Reinforcement rings...also known as paper donuts. 😂 Love this idea!!

Hermosura, que lindo es escucharte. 😍

Hi Jasmin. Bin ein großer Fan. Von dir. :-)
Weißt du, wo es dieses Ziel-Tuch zu kaufen gibt? Gruß aus Düsseldorf.
The fabric you have could be called a target sheet.

In the 90's pool instructor Bert Kinister used printer paper with a black circle that was possibly taped to the table. That seemed to work well.
I was breaking a rack of 8 Ball and the 15 ball shattered (1st time it's ever happened to me), so I carry one half of it with me everywhere I play. It's kind of my good luck charm..

So a player must aim straight to make stick goes into the hole, yay I like that 😂
I have to give it a try.
Hello from Bali, Indonesia. Great info. I have cue ball with red dots but how it helps my stroke? 🙄😁
Also what is your next tournament? All the best to you and Albin 🙂👍
Those little rings were origanally for three ring paper and they reinforced the paper at the holes so they didn't wear and fall out of the binder.
Lol Jasmin don't be nervous you're a badass so no worries..

Under BCA Rules, using silicon spray on the ball is is ILLEGAL.
I can't think about paper reinforcements without being reminded of an old electronics teacher's name for them: Paper A??holes.
