You’re killing me! I been playing over 50 years. Used to sleep under the billiards tables at my gramps billiard hall..I can’t do hardly any of these drills!😂 But i can shoot pool..i guess old school..you are so fun and entertaining!
Jasmin,, I have been playing with these 16 spheres on a plane for 50 plus years.. Watching your matches online changed my rail play.. So many options.. This is like "The Softer Side Of Sears" Hair down,, just being a person that loves pool.. great Video..
I was referring to her being a high level pro and all her videos combined. Not necessarily this video in particular. And although I’m sure these drills can be found in many an old book, I doubt they have moving picture illustrations ;-)
Great video, and appreciate the demonstration. I have lots of drills saved on my phone, but rarely pick one and actually work on it. This short list of fundamental drills is just what I needed. Thanks for the motivation! 👊🏼
You are such a breath of FRESH AIR for us pool players Jasmin. Obviously knowledgeable, committed, able to demonstrate them all, and very attractive (sorry but you are eye candy) but I think most of all, you are REAL!! By that I mean just listening to you I can feel YOUR frustrations as well and yet I want to go and try these drills because your enthusiasm imparts the feeling of challenge into me. I love the coffee thing (real), ‘when was the last time you did them?’ (Real), make them a bit easier (real, AND in touch with us mere mortals). PLEASE keep producing these wonderful vids. Most players don’t want highly specialized details…..well, yet anyway (maybe having done your drills we WILL. Lol) …..You are totally appreciative our level and this is a skill in itself. Thank you so much. Please tell Albin a ‘well done’ for coming so close in the World Cup of Pool. He is a great ambassador for the sport as well. Let’s see more of YOU on the TV can we?
It would help if you showed the spin used for each shot. I haven’t played pool for years but at 81 I recently had my table recovered and started practicing every day. I never knew the effects of spin on aiming or on the object ball. Any advice you choose give will be greatly appreciated.
Great video..I noticed in the places I play no one really practices drills. When I was approached by some one about why I do these drills they told me it was a waste of time that I just need to play better players. My response was the drills are to work on your consistency when it comes to your stroke. Repetition of these shots will help your confidence when playing. Knowing how the cue will travel and ultimately improve your game, especially under pressure. He shook his head and walked away. Lol
There is a cueing drill I really like for its simplicity and ease of set up yet it’s almost impossible. (You might want to feature it sometime) Object ball on center spot, Cue ball one diamond from rail in direct line with OB up the table. Drill - strike cue ball full into OB, stunning the CB to leave it exactly where OB was. OB goes up table and back in STRAIGHT LINE, to CB where it reconnects and CB hits the CENTER of the rail (ideally) from where you played the shot. 2 points for CB hitting short rail. 1 point for hitting CB at all. 0 points for no reconnect. I have lots of ‘fun’ with this by adding difficult factors, like target area etc. and the ultimate is if you can get the CB to rebound and hit the OB AGAIN! (Never done this but got close once!)
I finally have my 9 foot table, it’s as beautiful as you are! I’ve fallen in love with drills and climbed 30 spots in my league standings. Working for 600 Fargo ❤
I’m a new player in my first season and have a use 7 foot table Would it improve my game with a 9 foot table? I’m 56 and not sure how far I can go in pool but love the game
Jasmin, your presentation style is very refreshing! Great video and excellent tips! Will try them soon! There is a variant of the 15 ball rail drill that I try on occasion: there are only two balls on each rail (closest diamonds to the pockets, middle diamond no ball) including the end rails) and the remaining 3 balls are down the middle (center, and both "spot" points). This is also very difficult even though fewer balls on the rails because you also have to avoid the balls down the middle! Anyway, Thank You for taking the time to make these instructive drills. You are awesome!
Hey Jasmine, I would love to see how you work with stun shots and tangent lines in small areas, especially around the side pockets in the middle of the table. I'm at the level now where understanding the tangent line and how to hit the cue ball as full as possible to move the ball a few inches or less than a foot, is critical to keeping shape throughout your run. I'm sure I'm not alone here. Can you make a video?
I practiced you Center Line Drill. I did the first 3 levels the very next day I watched the video. 2 days after that, I won an 8-ball tournament Races to 1 double elimination. I had to win 8 matches because my 3rd put me on the 1 loss side. I took out 4 APA 7/9s to win that thing and then I won a few hundred more after the event 💪💪💪💪
I miss your adventure videos. Take a break from pool videos and switch it up. Your pool vids are great but its refreshing to see you having a different kind of fun:-) Hell come to Tennessee and see some waterfalls or hike part of the Appalachian trail. I will even be a guide or help out if you need. Either way life is short so soak it all up.
Love your videos so bad ❤❤ I did a drill in your previous video last week and just realized how difficult to complete it. But it looks so easy on you😂😂 Thank you for producing so many high quality videos!
Love Love your videos. I’ve watched all of them and I have practiced a few and working on one right now. Would you be able to give a diagram of the Cue Ball to show where you hit it so that it could better help us with drills. Some people are visual and need to see where they need to be hitting the Cue Ball so to help them execute the drill. It would help tremendously. Thank you for sharing your training videos it has helped me A LOT and has built my confidence as well 😊 I have improved so much!!
Hello, there is a video that mentions putting the ankle of the foot on the shooting line .Could you make a video that explains a little about that? Please
I totally love this new trend, of top players making instruction videos. My only problem is that they’re a bit above my level-I struggle to make more than five or six shots at any of these drills before missing position. Oh well, I will keep working on it.
I've just realised we share a birthday! You're 9 years older than me. That's cool. Anyway 😅 thanks for this video, watching your tutorials and drills makes me realise how much I need to play regularly again...I think for cue sports people, the frustration is addictive. Or we're all just crazy. Or both. 😝
really enjoy your teaching. I dont have the same felt on my table, thus the balls dont react as easily. could you do a drill using the non speed felt. hope i'm clear. I have napped billiard cloth vs. worsted, I'm an amateur player, so I'm not sure if i should be able to get action on the cue ball on my napped cloth as it seems you get on the professional table, I'm assuming it is a worsted cloth. thanks.
If practice on English/Irish small size table then when playing on American size table it will be easy. Not taking away anything from the player here. She's brilliant.
Is a way of showing sense of humanity in this game for us 🎱 pool players to learn to start with yourself and than starting to with others... Drills that you showing is also helpful and making us aware of our level of skills. Thanks again my Lady & note we 🇿🇦 🎱 pool players we also learning a lot from your tutorials.
Hi Jasmin, I just started watching your channel and have found your videos very helpful. I'm an APA skill level 4 plus player and I'm trying to learn to hit with English. How do you setup your aiming? I've seen videos where players align using Center ball and then pivot using either forehand English, backhand English, or parallel shifting which one do you recommend?
These are good drills. But I have a question I keep getting told o strike the cue ball to hard all the time, now I do not feel like I am shooting hard unless I have to. But just in case, is there a drill you prefer with object balls and without to slow down speed? Thanks
Hi I can't get this drill to work, the ball bounces off the rail in the wrong direction. Are you using English or shooting high low? Please help, thx love your videos.
I have napped billiard cloth vs. worsted, I'm an amtur player, so I'm not sure if i should be able to get action on the cue ball on my napped cloth as it seems you get on the professional table, I'm assuming it is a worsted cloth.
Jasmine, I really enjoy your pool videos but I am such a beginner that I don't know where you contact the CB. Do you have a video that addresses how to drive the CB around the table? Thanks, and great job!
I work at a bar and people don't like the chalk we get. Is there a good\decent chalk that we can get that isn't $10 a piece, and able to get in bulk. I use predator but we use a lot of chalk or is that because the caulk is cheap?
Can you make a video on how to break on 9 ball with the 9 on the spot , both break box and from the side, how to break the 1 in the side and the corner ball and talk about pros and cons, would very appreciate that i always lose because of my bad break.😂
I like these drills - especially the suggestion to use fewer balls if the skill level dictates. Drills of any kind, when you are unable to get past a certain point, can be very frustrating and lead to loss of determination for us mere mortals (lower-level amateurs).
I imagine average people don't need to worry about this, but can you show a typical workout, weight lifting and diet during a tournament? Some players like Earl would always say he jogs everyday, or play tennis or golf. Some of the young top players such as yourself appear to put a lot of effort in to fitness.
I wish you would not have sped up the video... Because that threw me off... I liked the drills but I would have liked them better if you would have had a cue ball graphic To show precisely where to hit the cue-ball.. as with the different types of center ball or spin shots to get on your next ball.. Therefore this video cannot help me because i've tried these drills and I just can't seem to get through them because I don't know where to hit the cue-ball.. I gave up after a 100 Attempts..
I agree... Will be nice to add a graphic with a doot to show us where to hit the white ball, also speed like "Sharivari" videos. That helps a lot. ruclips.net/video/7mWT41v-mw0/видео.html
How important is it to mentally block out surroundings. Championship matches control the audience but that is not true when it comes to getting there. Balls are smashing people talking. Is there a way that you keep focus with distractions? Do you refrain from talking to others in the early games? Do the championship matches make it easier and do you prefer the silence?
As a matter of fact, I have binge-watched all your videos.
You’re killing me! I been playing over 50 years. Used to sleep under the billiards tables at my gramps billiard hall..I can’t do hardly any of these drills!😂 But i can shoot pool..i guess old school..you are so fun and entertaining!

I absolutely love the way you mix a playful and humorous attitude with high level pro tips
high level pro tips? these are century old drills found in any good pool book
I was referring to her being a high level pro and all her videos combined. Not necessarily this video in particular.
And although I’m sure these drills can be found in many an old book, I doubt they have moving picture illustrations ;-)
Me too…I’m watching every each of them!!!
I love your approach and methodology for teaching. Also, you make the learning so fun and enjoyable. 😊👍🏻
I really like the software for your diagrams Jasmin. Would you please tell me what it is?
Great video, and appreciate the demonstration. I have lots of drills saved on my phone, but rarely pick one and actually work on it. This short list of fundamental drills is just what I needed. Thanks for the motivation! 👊🏼
Can you share them

I really like you're direct talking and teaching style. Thanks for the content I will use it a punish all the pros at the derby next year.

Yeah 😂 I'm binge watching. Now I've got my 4 teams watching, too 🎉🎉
*interesting she hit the cue ball into the rail for position. -always used draw shots to move the cue ball. have to try it her way*
Beautiful, smart, well spoken and is a killer on the table. What an amazing combination 😊
I love how you have easy access to each table type haha. Predator, Brunswick and Diamond. That is so nice. I love your videos and humor
It would help if you showed the spin used for each shot. I haven’t played pool for years but at 81 I recently had my table recovered and started practicing every day. I never knew the effects of spin on aiming or on the object ball. Any advice you choose give will be greatly appreciated.
Jasmin is amazing in these videos
All of your vedios I watched. You are the one of my favorite pro player in this planet. I'm from the Philippines.
You're one of my favorite content creators when it comes to Billiards. Hopefully one day I'll be on your level! Until then I'll keep practicing🙂

It's always time for coffee! Thanks for the great videos
I just took so many screenshots. Thank you for using that program to show ball placement. It makes it a lot easier to use when I’m at the table.

Great vids again :) Please tell me wot program/app are you using to make the (set up) animations with the pool table and balls and drawing the arrow?
Keep doing you! It’s different, honest, wholesome, funny and educational at the same time. Hope you keep growing as you have been😊

Some nice angles and shots during this video.
One for the oldies , nice one

Great teacher 👏
Great drill! A lot of good info in this video and you get to see Jasmin in jeans 😉
I really love your work
Nice video, will try some of these. Thanks
Great content and drill exercises 💪💪💪
At Time 9:18, the caption says "FORZEN RAIL". That should be "FROZEN RAIL". Thanks for another excellent video!
Love the drills! Will be doing these next practice session
I will try it! Thank you!
Love your videos so bad ❤❤

Class drills and perfectly mastered, best greetings Heiko

Thanks!

You’re the best looking pool player I’ve ever seen
Luv your vids
Thank you for the video! Great as always. Can someone tell me what program is used to create the graphics for the drills? Cheers
Thanks
Great video thank you! What application are you using to show the mock up of the table? I think that's pretty cool. Thanks again.
Excellent but I am a beginner, can you suggest exercises for beginners
What's the benefit of the glove? Curious? And why do we not see snooker players wearing them?
Consider getting a lapel mic with wireless transmitter to lose the echo and vastly improve the audio quality. They aren't very expensive.

Dr. Dave has several youtube videos on cue ball control, such as this one: ruclips.net/video/fPQEBxbByD4/видео.html
Can the "L" exercise be done on a 7ft table? I try but have hell of time ,cannot get thru the whole thing.
Do you have any recommended drills for bat box tables? Do these translate?

It IS time for coffee and to get ready to go shoot!
Hi Jasmin can u Do a video about safety drill like u an Albin train 👌🎱🎱🤞
and in which program is drawn a table for training?

Funny, it is on my list for maybe next month or the one after 😄 will do 👍🏻
@@jasminouschanbilliards thank you very much, looking forward 😀
I watch your Matches and recreate missed shots 😎
Also inspired me to grab a cup of coffee. +1

Good now sound worked???
I binge watch , but not for the pool !
After watching the first drill, it made me think... How come I never seen Jasmin play one pocket?
Can you redo the shot at 4:23?
