    I know it's not for everyone but I recently lost over 70 lbs and I'm now at my goal weight 155. For me eating Keto/Carnivore worked. I'm never hungry and it just suits me 100%. I know it's not for everyone but I feel so fortunate to have discovered this way of eating for myself. Love your Channel & wish you much success ❤

      I enjoy and have been successful with a Meat- Based (healthy fats)/ Carnivore lifestyle including intermittent fasting, rucking, yoga, pilates, strength training, vibration plate, red light therapy, meditating, drinking water and prioritizing sleep, to name a few. I agree, it's not for everyone but I am really seeing progress and I am thankful for this lifestyle, not "diet". It is very sustainable for me. I am only 8 lbs away from my goal weight and my strength has increased tremendously! I love it! ❤💪🏽🏋🏽‍♀️💕 BE WELL 🙏🏽

    Not only grocery shopping mindfully but shopping at the RIGHT grocery stores that will help you meet your goals. For example going to sprouts where almost everything is a healthy choice vs Walmart that is full of foods that may trigger you or make it easier to cave and buy the foods you’re trying to avoid! It’s helped me so much

      That is not a problem if you are doing the OMAD. I use to think it was crazy to do that but i did some research, after the 3rd day of clean fasting, you don't get hungry, you gain so much energy and when you do eat, you can eat anything you want. I have an eating window from 3 to 7 and its suppose to be only one meal but i have to make sure i at least get enough calories and i cant eat a lot in one sitting. So i eat at 3:00 and finish at 7:00 usually i get coffee and maybe eat popcorn after the initial eating. It works and it does not feel like dieting. I also watched a lot of videos on it and the best one was intermittent fasting foodie, she inspired me to do it. Hope this helps. So far it is 12 days for me, and i'm not stopping, so easy.

    I weigh myself 1-2x per day. I don’t have a negative viewpoint of the scale at all. Because of this, I know what foods affect me and what doesn’t. I know how the day affected my weight, etc. It’s the accountability with the scale that most try to avoid.

    I lost 30 lbs in 2 months eating plant based, giving up meat and milk was easy, cheese was hard lol, but I try to eat only fruit in the morning, a salad or Sandwiches at lunch and I eat many vegetables mixed with a starch such as brown rice, Yellow potatoes or Sweet potatoes for dinner and the weight melts off.. if you want faster weight loss I use the My fitness pal and eat only 1600 to 1800 calories per day. Cut out Oil!

    Jeannette, I appreciate you so much for doing this. These are great tips and lessons. Even if we've heard it before, it never hurts to hear it again and again. We become consistent when we stick to, refer to, and reinforce the rules. I would also add that it's so important to take care of our mental and spiritual health. Meditate and/or pray daily as many times as needed. Create daily affirmations. Visualize yourself at your goal weight. Do the work to figure out your triggers. What's causing me to overeat and binge eat? Why do I self-sabotage my weight loss? In other words, why do I make progress and then overeat or eat the wrong things, knowing I'm going to erase my progress? What other things can I do to relieve stress and deal with emotional trauma besides eating/drinking and doing damage to my body? Pick up hobbies that don't involve or make extra time for snacking/eating. For example, find hobbies that require you to be active or use your hands and mind versus binge watching TV shows on Netflix and Hulu. I like to do puzzles and mind teasers. My son bought me a mini trampoline that I love to jump on throughout the day. I use a hula hoop and jump rope as well. I find fun, active things I can do in the house, such as workout dance videos, so when the weather is bad or I can't get outside or to the gym, I can still be active and try not to get bored with workouts.
    Another quote my Jenny Craig coach used to say to me is, "Nothing tastes as good as being thin feels." I make that my daily mantra. 😂
    I wish you and everyone here the best in your weight loss and health improvement journeys! I'm right here with you! I have 50 lbs. to lose.

    So you lost 4 pounds per week🥴 or were you pregnant and you’re including the birth of your baby in the total, I’m sorry it doesn’t add up. Very heavy 400+ people may lose that much but you were nowhere near that

    • @jeanettejbeauty6374
      @jeanettejbeauty6374  4 месяца назад +3

      I was my heaviest at 298 lbs (yes after children) but once I set out to be very intentional (280lbs ish) I went down to 176. My pre pregnancy weight was around 140lbs-150lbs. I’ve had 5 children they’re 1-16 years old.

    • @thatone7793
      @thatone7793 3 месяца назад

      How doesn't it add up? Six months is 24 weeks. 100 pounds divided by 24 weeks is just over 4.1 pounds a week. That is easily attainable for most overweight people.
      I, for example, am 280 pounds and could safely lose 5-8 pounds a week until I reach 200 pounds. Then I should lose only 2-4 pounds a week until I reach my recommended weight of 122-145 pounds.
