"I want everyone to feel like heroes when they hear my songs."
I quit listening to Yoann's songs due to an ego problem of mine over singing these songs as love songs, rather than leaving them unsang and unused until i found the proper context for their individual uses. In short, I used to try to get girls with these songs, when all I managed to do is strengthen our friendships until no options were left for me in that area. That's where I am now thanks to Woodkid and my irresponsibility with his bottomless talent.

Let me paint you a picture, the songs in the album are in chronological order, it starts with "The Golden Age", as in, the best of times, when he was with his family, but he ran away from them (Run Boy Run), and joins the army to explore the world (The Great Escape), he then became a priest after war but also had depression (I Love You), he then killed himself, the next three or four songs are about the impact of the suicide, then he gets to heaven (Conquest of Spaces), but he gets pushed away due to the sin of suicide, (Falling), and gets regrets about what he has done and about all his hopes he had (Where I Live), and is then stuck in hell (The Other Side).
This theory isn't mine, but I like this one, I found this on a forum.
I think of this quote every time I hear any of hit faster/action songs.

Damn this song is so hard to sing to. The choruses are especially difficult, but the choruses are meant to be the easiest part of most songs . Anyway, I’ll wait till my voice settles.

I love Woodkid's song so much. They bring me a strange sense of joy that nothing else
in life can.
I always thought of becoming an animator, thinking that non-stop action is what makes animation at it's greatest (just like pivot fights or stick fights). But, just listening to Woodkid's songs (sorry that I forgot your name), just entirely changed my perspective of animation. It is the story and characters that drive something, in fact, everything forward. It is the drama, story and characters that brings everything forward. Thanks to Woodkid, I can make stories through characters, not action.
I am currently thinking of making a story called "The Great Adventures of Sheila M.", which is inspired by main events that has happened throughout the world today. The greatest adventure awaits.

What I wouldn't give for in instrumental version of this song. No offense to your singing, you have a great voice, I just like instruments alone without any singing in it.

Erroron? It doesn't sound as full. It loses a key element of the song, it's the same for almost all of their songs, including 'run boy run' which in instrumental form gets quite boring pretty quickly.
