After last year when Hurricane Ian struck right around that same time, it's not something you can take lightly. To sum it up, the best time to go is always in September. That’s the lowest the crowds will be compared to October. You can still finish every house and see all the scare zones in one night without express passes if you plan accordingly

Hey Amy! We are extremely certain that they will bring back that pass for this year’s event! Last year they released them around mid-late July. So keep an eye out around that time frame. That’ll be a good idea to snag since it can save you some money depending on how many nights you plan to attend! Can’t wait for your first experience!!

I’m from Chicago. What about hurricane season? Is it worse in September or October? I was supposed to go last year and right before I got on the plane all flights in and out from Orlando was canceled and universal gave us full refunds
This is a good question, and unfortunately not one that we can give you a spot on answer for. Hurricane season is just random at times. Both September and October could see a possibility of a Hurricane. We would argue that September has a higher chance though. The situation that you found yourself in last year is extremely unfortunate and something that we can’t predict. We would say that the chances of that happening again are low but not 0% if that makes sense.
Hey Brian, great name! In all honesty, we would say yes if planned correctly! It might benefit you looking into getting a Scream Early ticket at the least. That’ll give you an early start on the houses/event compared to the rest and it usually isn’t more than about $30ish per person!

I say yes if you do Stay and Scream. I’m an Annual Passholder and I do Stay and Scream instead of Express the past two years on a Sunday. I’ve managed to get all houses, scare zones, and shows in before closing the past two years.
