In fairness to Mitch and Auston, I think every single Canadian who has tried to draw a Canadian flag for whatever reason can relate to how oddly hard it is to draw a decent-looking maple leaf.
I'm trash at art but some reason in the states where I live I'm a pro at the Canadian flag ( I was born in Canada and was there tell grade 8

Leafs players draw a leaf. Habs players draw the letters C and H. Sens players draw the profile image of a Roman centurion with an open face helm and tassel.
I personally like the cowboy hat look on the Sens logo lol.
And Matthews drew a pot leaf more than a maple 😆

The current Leafs logo is a more detailed Maple Leaf than the flag or the old logo, and Matthews reflects that.
The Senators logo was the toughest to draw imo. The Flames to me was the easiest- just draw a capital C with flames coming out of it.
The ducks are also easy

Chabot had a really good start before it kinda fell apart. Also I think we can all agree on how unbelievably hard it is to draw a maple leaf for some reason
As an illustrator, I have to say that this is the most uncomfortable drawing position I'e ever seen. You tested them hard!
