Black manta is honestly one of my favorite villians, he has such an badass and OP suit, great motivation and overall, he is HIM. He carried Aquaman 2 also, everytime he was on screen i got chills.

problem was the movie was scarred by having Amber Heard in it. People just couldn't get past that. I thought it really was a fun movie. For me....dont let one character/actress ruin an entire movie that people poured their heart and soul into.

If you're accurate, fast and powerful, you can pull it off. Between that and the cross-left hook-cross combo (2-3-2) , it really helps you perfectionate your hips rotation, and you have a nice finisher in your arsenal.

Feels so satisfying to land 3-4 hits yourself and be out of range before any retaliation.

The optic blasts while powerful are rarely depicted as being fatal to any meta human hit by it. In fact I think in the comics, the only characters he ever killed were with his knives.
Actually I enjoyed this movie a lot, they handled Black Manta pretty well, the writing was not a sh*t show like recent MCU projects and the fight scenes with Manta are pretty damn good!

Love the new suit that Manta built. That said, slightly disappointed to see Orm survived a direct blast to his chest from Manta's optic rays.☹️
Aquaman gets blasted by the rays as well in the 1st movie, and survives. He doesn't take a sustained blast, which eventually would have vaporized him.
