After he and his wife are murdered, marine Ray Garrison is resurrected by a team of scientists. Enhanced with nanotechnology, he becomes a superhuman, biotech killing machine - Bloodshot. As Ray first trains with fellow super-soldiers, he cannot recall anything from his former life. But when his memories flood back and he remembers the man that killed both him and his wife, he breaks out of the facility to get revenge, only to discover that there's more to the conspiracy than he thought.

“So you spent billions of dollars making cyborg soldiers?”
“Yeah. They’re cool”
“So they can snipe people from three miles away with no scope?”
“What? No. They have robot arms for knife fights”
“But people have guns”
“Shut up! Knife hands!”
To be fair....
All three of them were prototypes...
Their level of refinement feels more like technology testbeds before creating a more viable prdouct.. they had a respiratory implant in the movie, replacement limbs, ocular enhancements, and of course the nanites, but the nanites were more of a general enhance everything deal that hadn't been properly developed yet. If I was to guess I'd say in this universe they had a sudden breakthrough in nanotechnology and decided to refocus the budget on developing that tech while the old soldiers were kept on retainer due to their contracts and only received upkeep work.
Then went "Hey we need to housekeep or our developers will potentially be compromised"(or their contracts weren't restrictive enough). Figured they'd get test data while they were at it and proceeded to not plan steps 3-4 on their way to Step 5:profit.
The way I see it, the whole cyber-wounded-warrior schtick was just a scheme to get the peace-niks to sign off massive government money they wouldn't have wanted to see going into new weapons tech.
@@ryokkeno let's be honest,Nanites and Respiratory implants are the two best. Both have their utility at a larger scale. But...Nanotech has ALWAYS been a generally much advised option as it can do anything on neural responses. Reform, regenerate, morph, you name it.
@@attilakovacs5040 especially with how it's portrayed in this movie. Who needs gradual enhancement treatments to bring you to your genetic max when they just replace your blood with the stuff and pump it full of enough energy to grow your limbs and body back in seconds? Honestly, it's no wonder he runs out of energy so fast. His biological have no chance to keep up so they proabably spend as much time repairing muscle tears from over exertions as they do closing external wounds.
My opinion a more lucrative line of investment is regenerative treatments and enhancement treatments(nanites in, treat, nanites out). Public would love the medical side and you could make military personnel jump straight to their "peak performance" without the hassle of a nigh-unstoppable madman running around murdering people. Not to mention it keeps the look of humanity without the no doubt insane upkeep cost.
A cyborg looks scary, and a nano enhanced can look horrific, but an attractive soldier who is in amazing shape? That's something you could put on a recruitment poster.
@@ryokkenoThe interesting thing is, all of the prototypes have potential, especially if you mash them together. Ocular Input plus robotic extensions would allow for soldier to shoot around cover without exposing their living bodies, and if the drone system shown earlier in the movie can be integrated with that, they can even fire without that level of exposure.
*The final scene where he tanks the 40mm rounds and regenerates was the only good & cool moment in the entire film and I came here for just that*
it was yh even the sound effect of the first one was cool
That's just objectively wrong, lol.
The movie was ok. I enjoyed it
"I can rebuild all of this! And I'm the only one who can rebuild you!"
"Do I look like I care?"
the power of family is truly unmatched
"Richard B. Riddick, escaped convict..."
Always cool how Vin Diesel always nails it when playing Riddick. 😅
This is just Vin Diesel from any of his other movies only they added nanotech CGI
In the comic book the nanites was referred to as The Blood of Hero’s. After blood shots death his blood was stored into a capsule and recovered by Rai in the year 4002.
More Riddick films than those damn fast movies
One makes money, the other loses millions. The calculation is easy on that one.
They got cyborg soliders and all that high tech stuff
nano dom : I've family.
And the soldiers only have knives and fist.
My main issue with Vin Diesel is that someone once told him he has to walk around with ILS (invisible lat syndrome) and he just never stopped.
We had a guy at my old office who did this. We called him Buckets. Like he was walking around carrying two heavy buckets all the time
"I don't need to win. I just need you to lose."
0:27 - who blows his nose like that during fight? 😂😂😂
When done properly thats supposed to be a badass 'blowing a blood clot out' move done between beats, like spitting out a tooth after being punched in the face. Problem here is there's no blood and he wasn't punched in the face!
Vin should have made more Riddick movies instead of crap like this.
This was amazing!
It was based off the comic book…loosely
It must be hard being that insufferable
@@phantomarcher9590 It's difficult on weekends.
Fr those movies were works of art, but they should’ve left out the magic in the last one. The budget for this bloodshot sci-fi movie shouldve been used to remake the animated riddick movie, the second one, into a live action
"why wont he die??"
-Nano-machines son
"Standing here, I realize you were just like me trying to make history..."🎵
"hes overclocking the nanites" might be one of the worst lines ever written.
His best movie is Chronicles of Riddick, but people expected Pitch Black 2, so it got low ratings
Everything he is in has fight scenes like a mr bean episode.
"You mechs may have copper wiring to reroute your fear of pain, but I've got nerves of steel."
0:09 I love that movie
“You can not survive without me”.
Same thing Bill Gates would say.
imo , the last line does go pretty hard, even out of context
We need Riddick back!
It's a shame they decided to make the armor human robotics, instead of the alien living armor from the comic series.
Winston’s British?! Wait till Nick finds out
When two guys with a bunch of gear fall on an elevator it holds.
When one guy with no gear falls on an elevator it breaks.
Check.
LMAO This is so ridiculous, they need to do the tank one...I had faith hahahaha
They must hate vin diesel to put him in these movies or he just wants a fast paycheck
Is there a clip anywhere of the tunnel fight where there's just flour all in the air like a fog but NONE of it catches on fire???
ruclips.net/video/JTpYEB353Ro/видео.html
I think it was too cold for that to happen.
It was a decent enough movie, but Vin Diesel needs to stop saying yes to literally every script that's run by him.
This is like a kid playing with their action figures narrating the story
for a second I thought this was another Fast and Furious movie
These guys can't beat FAMILY
What with Guy Pearce and his grabbing people by their throat issues 😂
Would rather have a last witch hunter 2 instead of this, man looks good as a viking
It might just maybe just maybe happend
Who cares if it’s unreasonable and stupid,it’s still stupidly awesome
gravity: am i joke to you?!
Its a cyberpunk fight!
Soul sellers all of u all 1% 😂
@@StephenSimon-w1h the fuck are you on about
Bruh really?💀
This Guy I'm dating has hair everywhere
So it's just Vin vs every Generic bad guy.
What did the guy think he would do? 😂
"You cannot survive without Family."
Isn't he the king of arrogance anyway?
"General Vin diesel!"
super arrogant Vin diesel vs arrogant cyborg soldiers
Cool, so this pretty much sums up the whole movie. I don't need to go watch the whole movie. Thank you.
The surge souls like Vin Diesel
I Just wish he'd make more Reddick movies.
Mane this is insane 😳 🔥🔥
Vin diesel vs Invader Zim backpack prototype
0:08 wouldn't he just stop moving at this point and his sneakers would slide and make squeaky noises as he tried in vain to keep moving forward?
Well yeah but its a movie so we dont fing care
Vin Diesel is a mark for himself
OMG, how tall is this building!
How did Jaime end up in the future? Those stones are nuts
Bro thinks he is the MC from Crysis
Vin Diesel will single handedly save the super hero movie genre!!!!
Jesus Christ, like 90% of this CGI is straight out of the mid 2000s
Awesome in action..mr xxx 😊
Too many quick cuts
Name of the movie
Oooooooh, vin is such a badass, in movies
cgi in this is really good
Not when they on the elevator it aint
agreed this is pretty decent even tho the elevator scene looked a bit wonky at times
He realized that he is just a machine and he can be brought back so why not jihad the creator.
I thought it was El Campeon at first 😅
I actually liked this movie lol
Same
It really pissed me off that they messed up the shadows on the environment and the actors in the lift scene... especially noticable at 01:50... actors light from the left front, shadows cast from right front...
What movie is this?
the cyborgs and nanites are one thing, but a elevator doesn't fail that easily.
nightmare on elm street reference

Is it the bad guy from iron man 3 ?
right behind you dropping in go there i blurred it keep him busy let him go in 3 lets see him survive that this guy wont
How heavy is this guy? If he can shatter an industrial lift like that by falling on it I don’t think he should be able to stand on anything and not crush it.
Can he even drive without ruining a cars suspension?
Witch hunter 2👀
12:00
5:21,6:24 Dr Harding is firing a grenade launcher at Ray Garrison
just fyi vin diesel can nevec loose because he has a "no loose" built into every contract
So does the rook the two biggest ego filled pricks in all of Hollywood

Excellent !!!

Proving that bad movies can always be worse. Theres no limit for shitness.
"Vin Diesel vs. Arrogant Cyborg" So in essence Vin Diesel vs dwayne Johnson, right? 😂😆🤣
Is it just me becoming older or are movies becoming dumber and dumber…?
Can i know name of movie?
Vin Diesel never did that tho. He did play a cyborg that was arrogant n took down other arrogant cyborgs.
Forgot how bad the CGI was in this
I haven't watched a Vin Diesel movie for a couple of decades. This proves my point. 🗑
Love Sam Heughan forever, tho!
What is the name of this movie
literally in the title
It's called Vin Diesel vs. Arrogant Cyborg Soldiers
Bloodshot. But I suggest reading some info online about who this character is, before watching the movie. Because that is important.
literallly in the title you fucking moron
Barbie
Is this Fast & furious part?
Super shoes? Not even the US government would fund something that stupid
Vin Diesel's movies getting ridiculous lmao
This one was tame compared to Triple X. And that was one of his earliest movies. If you're going to a Vin Deisel action movie you should know what to expect by now.
Bonjour , c'est quoi ce film ?
Goofy ahh green sneakers.
high law
Shitty Writer #1 - "How do I generate thematic tension since the guy is basically invincible?"
Shitty Writer #2 - "What if he was like, you know, just kinda stupid?"
Shitty Writer #3 - "What do you mean, .....stupid?"
Shitty Writer #2 - "Say instead of using his super strength and speed he just decides to take too much damage."
Shitty Writer #1 - "Like he just walks into gunfire an shit?"
Shitty Writer #2 - "Exactly, we can come up with some bullshit like him overheating or whatever"
Shitty Writer #3 - "That *would* save alot of money in practical shooting since we can outsource those mostly CGI scenes on the cheap..."
Shitty Writer #1 - "Any word back on the Rock is willing to play the lead?"
