Sir, your video has saved me a lot of money. In Nissan they were going to charge me almost 250 dollars for simply changing two cables and a screw of no more than 10 dollars. Thank you very much for your video!
Thank you for the video, I just got a 2021 Sentra, and the standard speakers suck! I'm not very car savvy, have no one to ask for help/guidance, and not a ton of money to pay someone to do it- so this helps a lot. Thank you!
Thanks for the video. That sensor behind the rear door is the fob sensor. It is how the car knows the keys are nearby . When it is not plugged in, the pushbutton unlock on outside of driver's door will not work and the car will not always start or shut off because the keys are not sensed. The car will start and shutoff without it, but it is finicky. Might have to move the key fob around the cabin so it can be sensed by other sensors.
Replaced my 2020 nissan sentra back door lock actuator with the help of this video. There is also a video from A1 auto for nissan Versa that shows back exterior handle and lock removal. The only difference is the sentra has a second #30 torx set screw that needs to be backed out before the lock mechanism can be removed.
Great video! Thank you. I was in need of that to install power windows open/close module for automatically operation with the remote control. And such instructions are good to the Sentra 2023 model too!
It doesn’t have precut holes on the rear doors on the metal. It does have a very very small speaker mounted to the panel on the Bose system. On the standard system, it doesn’t have anything there. Not worth trying to add speakers to those rear doors, in such a small space ( because they are so low on the door)
@@raiderman28 thank you so much! I replaced the front door and rear deck speakers myself and refused to check the back doors. That was a doozy.. never again 🤣
I am not 100% sure if the 2023 & 2024 are the same. I have not done the 2024 yet. If the panels look the same, then they should come off the same. These are usually not that difficult to remove
So I’m replacing the sound system in my 2021, and it all looks the exact same. My question is, how do I remove the 2 speakers that are located in the rear deck of the car?
I have not pulled that tear section apart on these, because they are fairly new. But in most cases you have to start by removing the rear lower part of the seat, and the side parts of the seat. In some cases the two side trim pieces have to be removed in order to pop up the rear tray, to access the rear speakers. Hopefully this will give you an idea of what you have to do to get in there
I wonder how big those little speakers are in the back doors, i think its hilarious that they're in there, but you can't even hear them 😂 i wonder how you'd replace those, if you even can.
If it has the bose system i think its a 4” speaker. This car had the bose system. If its the standard system, you will have to pull the door panel to find out the size, because I haven’t worked on that model yet .
Just grab the white part of the cable from where its clipped in and tug away from you to un clip it then just lift out of the ball socket. The second cable doesn’t have a ball at the end of it. It has like a L piece that is also removed the same way

Is there any precut holes in the rear doors on the 2018 Sentra for speakers? I know it only has speakers in the rear deck and front doors.

This should work for a 2024 Sentra? I need to replace my drivers side mirror and I believe I need to remove the panel first. Thank you in advance
