- In todays video I return back home from a trip to find some of my saltwater fish are mysteriously missing from the pond.. I had only one clue on who was guilty of these missing fish. That was our Venomous Solider Fish, he had been eating my fish! We needed to get him out and save the rest before it was too late! So we put together a plan to do just that...

Not enough shelters for the fish will cause them to be extra territorial. The more rocks and hiding spot you can provide will greatly increase their survival rate from being hunted by a more aggressive fish. Believe it or not some clown fish can be very territorial
That all depends on when they were put together. And considering how small those fish are, and the fact that the rock is hollow and shit, it's fine
This guy really built a massive pond and put one single rock in there. It’s not long before it will be overstocked with fish.

I’m from Puerto Rico and I believe that frog is a Coquí! Which is a native frog from here! I know there are some coquis in Florida and Hawaii do to accidentally being exported….

Make sure you put a lock of some sort on the end of that pipe there are a lot of mean people out there that might put something in there to hurt or kill your fish

Would love to see a second, smaller rock outcrop in the foreground just go give fish a little more space to hide near the viewing windows. Could also cover the piping where the clowns are with some rockwork to create an interesting home for them if they stick around there! A whole episode where you give the pond more details and features would be very fun!

You should really add extra rock to the pond so the clownfish and others will have more places to hang out.
Please get more anemones for the saltwater pond. The clownfish will become very territorial as they mature. I’m sure no one wants you to lose anymore clownfish.

@@paulcuffaroI really think you should consider carting the saltwater out of the pond into a holding tank on your truck, which you could take to the ocean when you do a water change! Otherwise you will permanently prevent anything from growing in your yard!

Maybe you should get a few wild clown fish that weren't raised in a bin and they will swim freely and not in group. They can lead the others out in the open.
My FAVORITE thing is the salt water pond! So so happy with the decision to go w community fish - colorful & gorgeous!! (Would be without predatory fish)
You could get a lot of tangs in there given the size of the pond! Personally - if I were going to add multiple tangs from one genus, I would add them all at once so no one feels more dominant than the other. For example - powder blue, powder browns, and achilles are all part of acanthurus, so I would add those three together. Same for zebrasoma - if you want both purple and yellow, add them together so one doesn't feel more dominant. You can probably add the genuses in stages if you wanted - but if you could also put in like fifteen tangs at once, that would be so EPIC!

I would love to see a few more monos in there so they would properly School. However I realize that they aren't really reef fish and that takes away from the whole point of doing a Community reef tank. But the Manos do look like a reef fish and they look very awesome in your tank always utilizing the open space and they will school better if there's more of them.
You do a great job on your RUclips videos. If you can find out what they gave you a strike for just avoid that content and you should be OK.

Paul, I have heard several times that if there are too many clowns in a certain room, they will attack each other. This will continue until death. They sit to protect their territory and later lay eggs with their partner. I know that you indeed have a large pond, but keep in mind that this can also happen...
Depends on when they're added, lots of people have success with it, and the tanks definitely big enough that he should be able to keep the culled population

With the size of the pond he's likely alright. Having added all of them at the same time also gave them the opportunity to develop territory. Believe he said in another video he plans on adding rock closer to the front as well which will help with the territory issue.
It’s pretty basic knowledge that clowns are territorial and will attack each other. No surprise that Paul had no clue about this. There’s literally no structure in this point for them to call home, no wonder they’re attacking each other.
@JohnSmith-cq5qu Funny how you judge him for "not knowing anything " yet you also don't know anything. While clowns do attack each other, that mainly depends on when they're put together, if they're put together all at the same time, it's fine. So try not to act like a smart ass next time when you yourself know next to nothing
