Firstly thanks for watching and thanks for subscribing.
In this video I’m fitting a box of Audio products from Travelinlite.
The rcd330 apple play head unit along with the JL audio c1 speaker upgrade including tweeters. the whole kit is plug and play so should be fun. I will be fitting the rear camera once I've sorted my barn door handle.

I got the same bundle from travelinlite but with Esatto speakers. The tweeters were a bugger to squeeze through. Great setup though.

Evening,. Very informative video, I’m looking at fitting this media unit in my t5 and I wondered what the deal is with the ariel. Have you already got an upgrade fitted in order to receive Dab radio. The standard reception is pish.

martin john elliot the standard Ariel is pants. It’s not a dab radio.. the dab ones come with a new Ariel that you can mount at the side of the window... some are quite small.. some are quite ugly.. the rcd330 is great but I just use the Apple play.. Spotify or there’s a radio app ‘tunein’ that works too 👌🏻
Should get some dash trim to prevent losing anymore trim tools down the front of the dash.

Hi Tdubz, lovely bit of kit, do they do this in an android version for a Samsung, also does it play cd/dvd, cheers and keep up the good work, very informative. Already fitted the alloys and spoiler, rear and side windows next 🙈
Very addictive isn’t it.. not sure actually your best bet is to ring them. The company is travelinlite Elliot is the guy to speak too 👌🏻🤙🏻

Great video Tom! Is there any chance you could do a video on how to install the Daylight running lights, including the wiring? I think it’s fairly simple but I can’t find a single video, other than those showing you what they look like. Cheers

Thanks, do you have any videos on installing amps/subs? Just wondering where's best to run cabling & mount them? Cheers, Chris.
CMB I haven’t as of yet. When installing amps is a great idea to put them in ‘dead space’ space accessible but not really used, some convert under the passenger seat or drivers seat. I personally will be using the space behind the passenger wheel arch in the rear of the van both to house the sub and amp. Wiring for me will run up the A pilar and back down the d Pilar by the doors. Hope this can be of some use to you.

CMB great, get all the electrics/cables in before you carpet line, looks a lot better. As for the position of your amp and sub have a think of what you putting in.. sometime under the bed is a good spot to use. Especially by the wheel arch at the back.. not really a lot of room for and thing else.
Great video, do you have the reversing sensors ping up on the head unit as the old radio used to put up an image of the bus and then the indicators kicked the closer you got to hitting something 😊
No I don’t, it’s an after market rcd330 I would imagine if your running the factory kit then you will 👌🏻

Hey man, could you explain how you routed those cables for the rear please :)?
Turtle Bay Diving for the rear speakers.. remove the glove box, A pillar and roof lining. run the cables behind and glove box and up the the a pillar with the existing loom that runs to the rear of the van.. then it’s just about getting them to the location you want the speakers...

Everything I have ever bought from travelinlite has failed at a very short point in its life.
Should be good with the JL stuff though......

Yeah deffo for the money it great and it looks factory 👌🏻yeah there’s probably a cheeper better off looking one but I’m chuffed

Yeah the, speaker tweeter combo was from them 👍🏻 there’s a lot of other brands out there now doing a upgraded kit for them so shop around. Travelinlite still has a lot too
