We're glad you enjoyed your short stay in Warsaw and both games we're cooking for players. Thanks for coming and for sharing your experiences with everyone
The only game that decides your company's fate is FP2 xD if it's not gonna be good like FP1, it's sad news for you. All the other games 11bs shows, nobody really cares about D: a tiny playerbase will buy them anyway (those who buy all bad games, like Diablo4 etc.)
@@dontbelazy3136huh? You know 11 Bit Studios is primarily a publishing company right? Yeah they make some games but the majority of the company is publishing. If FP2 failed it would be a hit to the company yes but the entire company does not ride or die off the back of frostpunk.
Never heard of this game series until I got the game free on Epic Games store and try it out. I had a fun time playing frostpunk. Very unique gaming experience. Frostpunk 2 look promising, definitely looking forward to it and would consider spending money on this game to support the team.
I think I remember watching a Vtuber talking about her time in 11bit studios and especially her thoughts on Frostpunk 2, and now here I am hearing Pravus listening about Frostpunk 2 as well!! Man, Frostpunk is so cool
My guess is you're referring to Ouro Kronii, aren't you? I admit there's a tiny part of my mind disappointed I'm not seeing a blue-haired time lord in some of those RL shots Pravus took.
I'm really excited for Frostpunk 2. It's everything Frostpunk 1 is carried further with new mechanics and new responsibilities to add to the experience. Hope rises for the community.
I took part in testing of Frostpunk 2. I see they took our feedback to heart and improved a lot in UI and it's much more readible now. It's been a cool game even then but I see 11bit knows their way how to address all the problems. All the problematic parts seem to be the past and I can only imagine how great the experience must be right now. I can't wait till the release!
Alters most definitely - thanks to you - has now caught my interest. The concept is highly intriguing. A wonderfully fresh breeze of game design innovation. Looking forward to it. Thank you, Pravus!
Love 11bit games! Their stories and dilemmas that they put me through were more memorable than other games i played in college. Their dark colour theme also has a polish that I became familiar to. Alter seems like 2nd "strand" type game so i'll be looking forward to its execution
Good Vid Pravus! Thanks for the intel on The Alters (you sold me, it was already on my wish list) and Frostpunk 2 is a MUST! Thanks always good information. Fair Trade Likes for Info - Thanks again.
A reskin 1.5 version of Frostpunk 1 - heck no, I've been waiting for this new completely expanded version of Frostpunk for ages. Thankyou Pravus for giving us this sneak peak of the pre launch - I mean the scale of the new game, the challenges, even politics! It's all going to be amazing on launch.
Pravus great content! You are giving me hope! I was so concerned they fucked it up... The UI still seem to be the same microsoft teams one which i heard lot of negative feedback, did it feel still the same?
Hmmm only 2 factions per play through? That’s kinda disappointing - I figured it’d probably get too complicated if all available factions popped up throughout a playthrough, but I was hoping for at least 3 factions and their extremist offshoots. Maybe with managing multiple cities, we’ll have the opportunity to have different factions per city? That’d be neat.
?? :D Beta was a sandbox mode :D who expected a story.. ? we were supposed to get a taste of what the game looks like and we got that alright :D in fact.. if there was a story i would probably skip it and wait for full release if anything lol, cant wait for the game^^
I still kinda hope they tweak the UI for FP2. It just is too futuristic and clean to me.I find while watching, it takes one out of the theme and environment. I actually compare it to Assassin's creed. While in past memories it is very much period correct, but go to menus etc, and now are reminded that are in the animus.
as much as i like the new frostpunk they didnt *have* to make it hex based or individual buildings not matter, it could've added back some of the more personal feeling to the game, instead of just statistics
The comment about FP2 vs FP1.5 isnt that confidence inspiring. For many of us who were initial players hyping it, we dont want FP1.5. We want the secret sauce. The sauce missing from things like 'On the edge'. FP wasnt a good city builder. It was an immersive and emotional city builder. It will be the most essential part for me. Will we have this sense of fear and emotion of a whole massive city collapsing? Fear of drama? Or will it just be babysitting whiny factions...
to me it feels like managing the factions is a replacement to the hope and discontent meters. something I personally find more interesting. I'm sure we'll get the drama going once we get actual scenarios instead of the endless mode previews.
@@CatLover-gk8uu Hrm. That is an interesting way to think of it and could be engaging. I still cannot get On the Edge DLC out of my mind though and is basis for most of my opinions. I did not get a sense of urgency. The bigger issue is the DLC's trade system. The scenario was mainly 'click to trade' repetition with a pretty cringe story. That DLC I only did once, but I felt neither the tension/Urgency, or satisfaction of success from the conclusion. Nor was there the sense of personal agency.
@@russelljacob7955the issue with the on the edge DLC is it lacked that sense of peril, hardship, and moral issues. I was never given the option nor felt I was in a situation I had to sign extremist laws Ironically steel was the only recourse that was scarce as the settlements gave you so many. The issues that the settlements came to you with about your people’s behaviors hardly felt that tense as it was taking discontent hit or make that faction upset. Never had really any tangible lasting or visible consequences. It is for sure my least favorite scenario in frostpunk and I generally see that is a shared opinion. Now I think the devs learned from their mistakes with that DLC. You do feel like kinda a monster in some situation in frostpunk 2. Tearing families apart in order to keep an efficient work force and stable food income. Pressuring delegates and destroying public trust towards you, researching things you know will make people sick but are efficient, signing extreme laws such as promoting the ideas of the apex worker. Stepping even closer to a society that culls the weak and poor and only the strong will live. (The ideals of the iceblood faction) And the thing is I think you’re going to be more forced into those tough decisions. Frostpunk 1 was a hard game but it’s forcing you into hard decisions came from difficulty by design but always in your control due to the lack of any variance between play through. Pure gameplay knowledge would always prevail. I do feel once we have proper scenarios instead of just an endless mode with limitations attached to it we’ll see the game in its true horrifying light.
I hear ya.. FP 2 sounds interesting, but for some reason.. your test play did not look graphically as interesting as previous game, was a bit too "big" for my taste.. so reaaaly not sure about the game. Still, I will for sure enjoy YOUR playthrough, not for me to play but to enjoy via people that can do it xd
Frostpunk 2 seemed like it could become something nice (in your preview-playthrough) i still think that you should be able to satisfy multiple factions at the same time if they ask for the same thing (in your preview-game 2 factions asked that you develp the same technology, but you had to choose which one of them would get the relationship/prestige bonus)
I CALLED IT! Oh BABY(!) I'm happy this is happening. I got into FP due to your series so long ago and now being able to play the new game when it comes on (I'm on PS5) is such a joy. It would be good if you would be able to micromanage new settlements
