As an American viewer of the product I kinda have to sympathize with the majority of the international viewers of WWE they usually have to wake up at absurd hours to watch wwe events so I think it's fair for the American audience to go through what the others had to for once at least
As an Indian i confirmed that i generally woke up at 6-6:30 am to watch raw and SD and sometimes for ppv i woke up at 3:30 -5:30 am to watch the whole show so the complaining about the timing that's too daamn lame excuse 😂 not to book Rock Vs Roman at EC 😅 no offence 😆🔥
I think for us Americans we shouldn’t really complain too much about the time. Other countries all around the world have to wake up very early to watch ple’s in the us and just as simple as a weekly raw and smackdown show. Australia is hosting this PLE at a stadium and this match will have big event feel compared to last year elimination chamber. If we have seen anything is that PLE outside of US are always a success because of how much intensity the fans bring to them like UK, Puerto Rico, Canada and Australia will be no different. Rock and Roman at the elimination chamber is the best choice and let Cody finish story at WM 40 and suck it up Americans and just wake up early! If you think about it we’re kinda make ourselves (Americans) to seem entitled because we feel the need to have every show centered around our time. Which really isn’t fair considering other countries wake up very early or stay up very late to watch the show. I think we could handle it for one PLE and still enjoy it. This is a win-win for everyone because you also have to understand that Rock might not be available for WM40 due to the fact that Fast 11 begins filming in either March or April, so this so-called Dream Match happening at EC and letting Triple H do what he wants in getting more eyes on a "Smaller PLE" and then letting Cody finish the story by ending one of the most infuriating Reigns of Terror ever at WM40 is a win-win. I think y'all American fans should take a chill pill. As a wrestling fan in Nigeria, I stay up from 2 AM to 5 AM to watch every wrestling show/PPV whether it's AEW or WWE. I think staying up one night to watch a dream match won't kill y'all man.
I work evening shifts, so having a PLE in the morning is a plus for me. I dont have to take the day off or call in. Also, I dont care that I have to watch it early in the morning when I know Roman is gonna win anyways

When marks realize cody was never even supposed to face roman for the title in the first place at wrestlemania 39 and was just a replacement for the rock but still somehow think he’s gonna steal the main event from the rock 🌚.
Have The Rock give Orton an assist at the Royal Rumble to go over Reigns and to set up Rock vs Roman at Mania and Orton vs Rhodes at Mania. Rhodes finishing the story with Orton seems to be a fitting ending for me since the history goes full circle

So it takes away from the whole idea of the “story being finished” and being built for the past year or more. Dude, they're doing the John Cena treatment in 2012-2013 season, not CM Punk. Cody is playing like a hero to the audience to go through adversity. Here are some reasons why I don’t really like Rock vs Roman. -I think it will be lacklustre match, yes the energy would crazy, but if this is the main event, we might just see a slow match like Roman vs Jey 3, or even like a 3 minute main event. Considering Rock was gassed after a few minutes, I think it’s too soon. -There’s really no buildup, this match needs a year long buildup for it to be even bigger, like John vs Rock, we need to see what will happen with Jimmy, Solo and even Paul, also this will give Rock time to rebuild his wrestling. -Having Roman with the titles just makes the match so predictable, if they take the titles off of Roman, they there will be an unpredictable winner. -I just don’t wanna see another year where Roman holds the title hostage, I know they want to break Hogan’s record but it’s not even the record, so honestly Roman really is not getting much out of it. -If Cody doesn’t finish his story this year, I think the fans will just not care about him anymore, also this would make last year’s match worthless, and 2023 will just be for nothing. But this just my opinion.

As someone who lived in Bangladesh and was watched WWE Live at 6am, this is such a relief seeing a PLE at Perth Australia, because the time zone at Perth is the closest to that of the Indian Subcontinent. Just avoid spoilers when you wake up and watch it on catch up. Usually, what I do is put my phone on Do Not Disturb before I go to bed, so I get no notifications when I wake up. Then, for as long as it takes for me to get time to WWE Network (which, for me, is always on that day), I avoid social media and spoilers. It's annoying, but it works 🤷♂️
I watch WWE in the evening of the day after a show airs. I got spoilers for the returns of R-Truth, CM Punk and even AJ Styles, but I didn't mind them at all because firstly, even if I know who is going to make a return, I don't know when that will happen, keeping me at the edge of my seat, and secondly, they become a reason for me to stay awake and not fall asleep while watching the shows.

This absolutely makes sense and is a GREAT idea though. Hear me out.. 1. With or without Rock, Wrestlemania and WWE's hustle will draw unprecedented numbers just like rest of year. 2. It could be an XPW event or a Grandma's backyard, The Rock would do mega numbers anywhere. In turn, EC will be something worth watching. 3. Elimination Chamber in Perth brings in a larger international audience to help build the Road to Wrestlemania. This is no different than the insane non-canon cards they've been doing in Saudi Arabia. 4. Roman going over Rock tremendously elevates the rematch with Rhodes, a superstar darling who's already no.1 in sales. Let's not forget that Roman is without The Bloodline. This is an integral difference to Rhodes' original loss!
Fair point, but I disagree considering how other fans in time zones around the world are also tuning in to see the Rock/Roman match. But in hindsight, Roman should’ve lost the belt to Cody so the Bloodline being dissolved could’ve been focused on just that and not if Roman’s 1,000+ day streak was gonna end. Maybe the Rock told them last year that he couldn’t do Mania 39 and only had February of 2024 available (hence why they booked a stadium show in Australia) and that could even be a factor to why the kept Roman’s streak going. Because a lot of fans (in the alternative timeline where Cody won) would be confused why the dream match wouldn’t be happening at Mania 40 (unless it somehow lead to a bloodline fatal 4 way to end the faction at Manka 40 and maybe Roman wins, kicking off a solo campaign, maybe running it back with Cody down the line or something)
In South Africa, all of the WWE shows/PLEs start in the morning. Please don't say they're making a mistake....your American crowd audience doesn't react or appreciate the product as much as other countries. That's why you see international PLEs go crazy even though they're for B show PLEs
I just don't understand what an extra year with the title would do for Roman. He is clearly bigger than the titles. This might be a crazy comparison but Roman is the new undertaker. He doesn't need a title to be the best. The Tribal Chief character could be even greater, storytelling wise if he lost the titles at Wrestlemania 40.

Why can’t Cody finish at summerslam? To me it seems like it may be the 2nd or 3rd biggest ppv of the year and you could schedule summerslam to where Roman beats hogans record then drops the title to Cody a week or a couple of days after he breaks it. Ahh Americans , it’s fine if the time lines up for them but the moment it doesn’t all hell should break lose. It’s WORLD wrestling entertainment right? So if the PLE was mania at Australia the complaint would be yeah but y they doing this one at Australia tho.
So from what we have right now we have a few options in the way. We can: 1- Hold Cody for next years Wrestlemania or for Summerslam and have Roman face Rock this year’s Mania. The problem with option 1 is that we cannot afford to hold Cody any longer. We took a big risk holding until this year, it would be terrible to hold for another year. And Roman’s title, even tho Summerslam is the second biggest event of the year, can not end anywhere other than Wrestlemania. So that’s option 1. Option 2 is having one of the matches take place at Elimination Chamber. And even with more and more people saying that “you don’t need to think about the name of the PLE, just think it’s a 70k major stadium event”, but having this two matches so close to each other will undermine one of them. If you have Cody face Roman at EC and win that will feel like second tough compared to Roman facing The Rock, and we don’t want that for the end of the most historic title reign in decades and the new face of the company. If you have Rock face Roman at EC and Rock wins, that undermines Cody’s victory. If you have Roman wins he’s going to feel unstoppable and that may be beneficial to Cody. But let’s be honest, even tho it’s a major event, Rock vs Roman cannot happen anywhere other than the Main Event of Wrestlemania. So this is my solution: You have Roman Reigns vs Cody Rhodes at Wrestlemania 40. And have Roman Reigns vs The Rock at Wrestlemania 41. And for that to work you need to secure 3 dates. 3 dates for The Rock and this will work. You need one Raw before this year’s Wrestlemania. You need Summerslam. And you need Wrestlemania next year of course. If you have more dates that’s better but this are the essencial ones. That way you can build Roman vs Rock for one year without undermining Cody. You may say that we don’t need to hype this match for one year. And you’re right, we don’t. The match itself sells the hype, but if you have them confronting and teasing the match for a year it’s going to feel even bigger. And you may say again “but the Rock already started to tease Roman. So that mean it’s this year” and to that I say you’re wrong. When The Rock returned at 2011 he was teasing John Cena, and the match only happened in 2012. So you can have a teasing in advance. So we’re are going to go for the long booking scenario and as Triple H has shown us, he can do the Bloodline story long and great. So this is what’s going to happen: The Rock is going to come out in a Raw before Mania and he will say that he wants the match and he wants to see who’s the head of the table, but there’s one man that deserves this more, one man that carried the company flag on his back and deserves to finish his story. So he brings out Cody Rhodes, they talk a little bit, shake hand and Rock raises Cody’s hand acknowledging Cody. So you can use that in your build. How Roman is pissed because Rock acknowledged Cody and not him, and he’s going to destroy Cody to prove that this is nothing and Cody is not the future of WWE. At Wrestlemania Cody finishes the story and beats Roman. So Roman vanishes for 2-3 months, and when he returns he’s outraged. It’s like he’s power hungry, he’s even worse than before, he’s like a tyrant, he’s abusing his power and his position. He lost it. Then at Summerslam you have The Rock comeback and have a face to face with Roman to set the stage for their match at Wrestlemania. And for the build you have a Roman Reigns who basically lost his mind due to his defeat and he sees himself needing to prove even more that he’s the Tribal Chief, and The Rock who’s the veteran who’s trying to show he’s the man and he’s taking advantage of Roman’s state. And at the end of the day you have Roman bray The Rock and return to that more cool, calculated, final boss Tribal Chief

I think for us Americans we shouldn’t really complain too much about the time. Other countries all around the world have to wake up very early to watch ple’s in the us and just as simple as a weekly raw and smackdown show. Australia is hosting this PLE at a stadium and this match will have big event feel compared to last year elimination chamber. If we have seen anything is that PLE outside of US are always a success because of how much intensity the fans bring to them like UK, Puerto Rico, Canada and Australia will be no different. Rock and Roman at the elimination chamber is the best choice and let Cody finish story at WM 40 and suck it up Americans and just wake up early!

To be real I work in the afternoon so this is perfect.
If you think about it we’re kinda make ourselves (Americans) to seem entitled because we feel the need to have every show centered around our time. Which really isn’t fair considering other countries wake up very early or stay up very late to watch the show. I think we could handle it for one PLE and still enjoy it. This is the cost of wanting to go international and i’m sure WWE is highly aware of it. Another comment mentioned this i just wanted to reiterate it.

6:30 start time but these shows go for 3 hours +. So the match won't start until around 8:30-9.

This is a win-win for everyone because you also have to understand that Rock might not be available for WM40 due to the fact that Fast 11 begins filming in either March or April, so this so-called Dream Match happening at EC and letting Triple H do what he wants in getting more eyes on a "Smaller PLE" and then letting Cody finish the story by ending one of the most infuriating Reigns of Terror ever at WM40 is a win-win.

I think y'all American fans should take a chill pill. As a wrestling fan in Nigeria, I stay up from 2 AM to 5 AM to watch every wrestling show/PPV whether it's AEW or WWE. I think staying up one night to watch a dream match won't kill y'all man.
I work evening shifts, so having a PLE in the morning is a plus for me. I dont have to take the day off or call in. Also, I dont care that I have to watch it early in the morning when I know Roman is gonna win anyways

When marks realize cody was never even supposed to face roman for the title in the first place at wrestlemania 39 and was just a replacement for the rock but still somehow think he’s gonna steal the main event from the rock 🌚.
Have The Rock give Orton an assist at the Royal Rumble to go over Reigns and to set up Rock vs Roman at Mania and Orton vs Rhodes at Mania. Rhodes finishing the story with Orton seems to be a fitting ending for me since the history goes full circle

So it takes away from the whole idea of the “story being finished” and being built for the past year or more. If you have Cody vs Randy before The rock vs Roman it takes away the prestige of it being a Undisputed Title match for being the top wrestler of the company. So it’s really a lose lose situation if you do that. The best option is the rock vs roman at EC and Cody vs Roman at WM and have a Randy vs Cody feud at SS and then Cody and Roman rematch at the following WM if he maintains that long. In front of a international with 60K in attendance and the roar that international crowds give is perfect for a match for two part timers that intend on leaving the company soon or taking a break.
Or just do it at the EC. How do Australian and UK fans survive all the US ppvs? lol
As an Aussie, I live on AEDT and PLEs usually start from 10-12:30pm. People in Perth have to wake up quite early, around 6-8am for these.
Cody has to finish the story, there is no way to justify the loss at previous year’s WrestleMania if they don’t go through with this.

Dude, they're doing the John Cena treatment in 2012-2013 season, not CM Punk. Cody is playing like a hero to the audience to go through adversity. They did that with the Brock Lesnar situation with Cody involved. You can't kill what you set up last year and then just completely throw it at the waste side until another year. It's a waste of time and it's bad timing for them to do this. If it wasn't for Vince McMahon trying to Merge with Endeavor and getting back his power, we would've gotten this last year in LA instead. It was too perfect for it to not happen. Even The Rock himself admitted that. So if you want to blame it on someone, it's Vince McMahon. Wether you want to believe that or not.

It will be like 2011 situation where Rock returned to WWE to announced as the host of WM 27 . Then on main event match between John Cena vs Miz for WWE title , Rock screwed Cena the title match thus Miz retains . Then next night on RAW , both Rock & Cena confronted each other & agreed to have a match at WM 28 . So same thing will be happening in this year
Here are some reasons why I don’t really like Rock vs Roman.
-I think it will be lacklustre match, yes the energy would crazy, but if this is the main event, we might just see a slow match like Roman vs Jey 3, or even like a 3 minute main event. Considering Rock was gassed after a few minutes, I think it’s too soon.
-There’s really no buildup, this match needs a year long buildup for it to be even bigger, like John vs Rock, we need to see what will happen with Jimmy, Solo and even Paul, also this will give Rock time to rebuild his wrestling.
-Having Roman with the titles just makes the match so predictable, if they take the titles off of Roman, they there will be an unpredictable winner.
-I just don’t wanna see another year where Roman holds the title hostage, I know they want to break Hogan’s record but it’s not even the record, so honestly Roman really is not getting much out of it.
-If Cody doesn’t finish his story this year, I think the fans will just not care about him anymore, also this would make last year’s match worthless, and 2023 will just be for nothing.
But this just my opinion.

As someone who lived in Bangladesh and was watched WWE Live at 6am, this is such a relief seeing a PLE at Perth Australia, because the time zone at Perth is the closest to that of the Indian Subcontinent. Y’all are too entitled to have everything in your time while we get this chance for once. Similar to what happened for Clash At The Castle 2022.

Just avoid spoilers when you wake up and watch it on catch up. Usually, what I do is put my phone on Do Not Disturb before I go to bed, so I get no notifications when I wake up. Then, for as long as it takes for me to get time to WWE Network (which, for me, is always on that day), I avoid social media and spoilers. It's annoying, but it works 🤷♂️
I watch WWE in the evening of the day after a show airs. I got spoilers for the returns of R-Truth, CM Punk and even AJ Styles, but I didn't mind them at all because firstly, even if I know who is going to make a return, I don't know when that will happen, keeping me at the edge of my seat, and secondly, they become a reason for me to stay awake and not fall asleep while watching the shows.
Rock vs Roman should happen at elimination chamber that way we all get what we want we get our dream match and cm punk gets to main event his 1st wrestlemania and Cody gets to finish his story everyone wins and everyone’s happy

The thing about Triple H and Nick Khan is that they will follow the plan. This is not Vince Mcmahon's WWE and Cody, Roman, even Dwayne and the others know it. We'll get our dream match while not compromising one of the major story arcs during Wrestlemania season.

I would almost prefer Roman v Rock at SummerSlam. Rock has a long history of really big matches at that event.

1. With or without Rock, Wrestlemania and WWE's hustle will draw unprecedented numbers just like rest of year.
2. It could be an XPW event or a Grandma's backyard, The Rock would do mega numbers anywhere. In turn, EC will be something worth watching.
3. Elimination Chamber in Perth brings in a larger international audience to help build the Road to Wrestlemania. This
is no different than the insane non-canon cards they've been doing in Saudi Arabia.
4. Roman going over Rock tremendously elevates the rematch with Rhodes, a superstar darling who's already no.1 in sales. Let's not forget that Roman
is without The Bloodline. This is an integral difference to Rhodes' original loss!
And EC will have only slightly lesser of a crowd than WM40. WWE still winning with Rock v Reigns at Chamber!
Fair point, but I disagree considering how other fans in time zones around the world are also tuning in to see the Rock/Roman match. But in hindsight, Roman should’ve lost the belt to Cody so the Bloodline being dissolved could’ve been focused on just that and not if Roman’s 1,000+ day streak was gonna end. Maybe the Rock told them last year that he couldn’t do Mania 39 and only had February of 2024 available (hence why they booked a stadium show in Australia) and that could even be a factor to why the kept Roman’s streak going. Because a lot of fans (in the alternative timeline where Cody won) would be confused why the dream match wouldn’t be happening at Mania 40 (unless it somehow lead to a bloodline fatal 4 way to end the faction at Manka 40 and maybe Roman wins, kicking off a solo campaign, maybe running it back with Cody down the line or something)

Why can’t Cody finish at summerslam? To me it seems like it may be the 2nd or 3rd biggest ppv of the year and you could schedule summerslam to where Roman beats hogans record then drops the title to Cody a week or a couple of days after he breaks it. So from what we have right now we have a few options in the way.
We can:
1- Hold Cody for next years Wrestlemania or for Summerslam and have Roman face Rock this year’s Mania.
The problem with option 1 is that we cannot afford to hold Cody any longer. We took a big risk holding until this year, it would be terrible to hold for another year. And Roman’s title, even tho Summerslam is the second biggest event of the year, can not end anywhere other than Wrestlemania.
So that’s option 1. Option 2 is having one of the matches take place at Elimination Chamber.
And even with more and more people saying that “you don’t need to think about the name of the PLE, just think it’s a 70k major stadium event”, but having this two matches so close to each other will undermine one of them.
If you have Cody face Roman at EC and win that will feel like second tough compared to Roman facing The Rock, and we don’t want that for the end of the most historic title reign in decades and the new face of the company.
If you have Rock face Roman at EC and Rock wins, that undermines Cody’s victory. If you have Roman wins he’s going to feel unstoppable and that may be beneficial to Cody.
But let’s be honest, even tho it’s a major event, Rock vs Roman cannot happen anywhere other than the Main Event of Wrestlemania.
So this is my solution:
You have Roman Reigns vs Cody Rhodes at Wrestlemania 40. And have Roman Reigns vs The Rock at Wrestlemania 41.
And for that to work you need to secure 3 dates. 3 dates for The Rock and this will work.
You need one Raw before this year’s Wrestlemania. You need Summerslam. And you need Wrestlemania next year of course.
If you have more dates that’s better but this are the essencial ones.
That way you can build Roman vs Rock for one year without undermining Cody.
You may say that we don’t need to hype this match for one year. And you’re right, we don’t. The match itself sells the hype, but if you have them confronting and teasing the match for a year it’s going to feel even bigger.
And you may say again “but the Rock already started to tease Roman. So that mean it’s this year” and to that I say you’re wrong. When The Rock returned at 2011 he was teasing John Cena, and the match only happened in 2012. So you can have a teasing in advance.
So we’re are going to go for the long booking scenario and as Triple H has shown us, he can do the Bloodline story long and great.
So this is what’s going to happen:
The Rock is going to come out in a Raw before Mania and he will say that he wants the match and he wants to see who’s the head of the table, but there’s one man that deserves this more, one man that carried the company flag on his back and deserves to finish his story.
So he brings out Cody Rhodes, they talk a little bit, shake hand and Rock raises Cody’s hand acknowledging Cody.
So you can use that in your build. How Roman is pissed because Rock acknowledged Cody and not him, and he’s going to destroy Cody to prove that this is nothing and Cody is not the future of WWE.
At Wrestlemania Cody finishes the story and beats Roman.
So Roman vanishes for 2-3 months, and when he returns he’s outraged. It’s like he’s power hungry, he’s even worse than before, he’s like a tyrant, he’s abusing his power and his position. He lost it.
Then at Summerslam you have The Rock comeback and have a face to face with Roman to set the stage for their match at Wrestlemania.
And for the build you have a Roman Reigns who basically lost his mind due to his defeat and he sees himself needing to prove even more that he’s the Tribal Chief, and The Rock who’s the veteran who’s trying to show he’s the man and he’s taking advantage of Roman’s state.
And at the end of the day you have Roman bray The Rock and return to that more cool, calculated, final boss Tribal Chief
