    What he says is not true. Unniyappam has been around for 2 or 3 centuries. It is still being given as prasadham in many temples in Kerela. Finely powdered rice flour is used for unniyappam. Yes in hotel they find a low cost way to make it. Healthy unniyappam is much better than what he explains.

    no need to add this much of items to make batter.... maida ,turmeric,salt and little bit sugar ... this enough making batter for pazhampori ..
