100% Agreed! It’s not SynthV or AI(yet), but if it interests you, my UTAU LongWei is actually designed for classical/opera! He will also be receiving an AI voicebank for DiffSinger hopefully later this year too if AI vocal-synths are more your speed!
I like the strained and theatrical ones the most. Mostly because you can hear the difference and I've never known of other voice banks with those options. I could see strained being good for like surface pressure.
I always check out these videos when I try out a new vocal for the first time! These are also great when I'm thinking of buying a new one and I want to get a feel for what they sound like. 😊
Correct! Vocal modes and Cross-Lingual synthesis are only available on the Pro Editor. If you want my recommendation, I would recommend purchasing the Pro editor. The Basic is serviceable, but if you’re like me, enjoy playing with all the do-dads, Pro is the way to go.
