- This is a video about my Goal Zero 3000x Yeti Portable Generator and two (200watt) Goal Zero Boulder solar panel suitcases. I am able to charge my Surron 2 to 3 times depending on the conditions, every day, from the sun only!

Heck yeah! That's how you do it
Thanks Will!
I hope you start posting again, your videos are fantastic! It was great meeting you today!!
I do need to start posting again!
Super helpful thank you
You are very welcome!
@@leetjohnson is there a lower tier/grade yeti you'd recommend for charging 1 stock surron light bee? It's confusing trying to figure out each moving part. Lets assume same solar panel setup.
@212ccc7 the Yeti 1000 is solid too.
its a cool loadout for sure, even at 4k its an "investment" that will repay itself easily after a couple years of gas free riding depending on how often you go out - who does a hobby to save money anyway? you can't beat to coolness factor of being legit off grid and you aren't lying - when you know you know - stinking like 2 stroke exhaust and listening to the generator roar all weekend or blasting the stereo over the top of it gets pretty old.
It sure is awesome, thanks for watching!
Sorry if I missed it in the video but how long does it take to fill the yeti on a clear day without it charging something at the same time?
If it was completely dead, (maybe 5 or 10%) and you had 400w of solar panels (pulling 350watts, realistically) you could fill it up in about 10 hours.
10X 350w = 3,500wh ....the Yeti is 3000wh capacity, but with charging losses, you could expect 9 or 10 hours from empty to 100%
Very nice brother. Love this setup. Thanks for the info. 🙂
@@jjsky1 anytime!
Hi, thanks for the video. I just have one doubt. What is the real time for the Yeti Generator to charge up the Sur-Ron battery from let's say 30% to 100%. Thanks
It takes about the same time as when plugged into a wall outlet. About 2 to 3 hours.
@@leetjohnson thanks for your lighting fast reply ;)
@@Peyiang no problem!
How did you find such a good deal on the goal zero!?
Offer Up!!
Nice setup = Very clean - well done video -
my setup is 750 watts Mia solar flex roll up - 10kwh Tesla model S battery - Victron Charge controller and Victron 1200 watt inverter -
1000 All Solar miles on Sur Ron - Fun bike - my suspension is now very worn out - do you know of any rebuild kits - Killah / Fastace ?
just put a few SR ride ride videos on my channel -
Awesome! I don't know of any rebuild kits for the fork...most people upgrade to the Fox 40s...or the Marzocchi 38s...but, they are both very expensive.
😛😋🤗 Great
Thank you!
It's just me but I would show a picture at least of it. Good video otherwise really good prices you got on that stuff I don't have any of that yet I'm useless and watt inverter off of my truck battery to charge my Jetson and it's killing my battery so I'm having to stock but I don't think my battery is going to live very long doing it this way
Check out my Instagram to see a photo of thr setup....@solarsurron
Give the surron u haven’t posted in 10 months 🙏♥️
Sorry, had to make a major move and haven't got back in the groove of filming yet...
☝️🤟👽🚲⚡
✌️
Would a jackery 1000 with solar panels be able to charge the bike
It would give you about half a "tank", but if you had panels connected to it, you could fill it up no problem. You will need at least a 1000watt inverter, not sure how big they are in the Jackery 1000
@@leetjohnson thank you for the information and where did u order your bike from
The surron battery is about 2,000watt hours, for reference.
I ordered my bike online from Luna Cycle in El Segundo, CA (Los Angeles).
Rrrrr
Thanks for watching!
Portable lol
Portable with a full size pickup 😄 🤣
